The story told by Evan's friend:

Back in the day these girls used to get these hang up calls. And turns out it was coming from the guy who lived here. He lost his mind and one night just went out and stabbed a bunch of (young women). My uncle told me they tried to kill him. I guess they called him the Boogeyman. And they shot him and he wouldn’t die so they buried him in the basement and they sealed the whole thing in concrete.

Main takeaway for me: the music the boy was working on was such a nostalgia bomb. I used to listen to the season 1 playlist a lot. I might go listen to it again.

Also, the little boy reminded me of Peter, especially when he said, “I want to go home.”
