Miss Widow's Bay 1959

I was wondering about that photo in the Historical Society (ep 1x01) and it was Ruth!

But I still wonder why that photo is there among the horrors on the island. Was she 'famous' just for being Miss WB? OK, but there weren't other beauty pageants some other years?

Widow's Bay ep 1x09: Warren's Children

So it was actually SEVEN children, the touristic brochure was correct and it wasn't some kind of inaccuracy in a prop we weren't supposed to read (the love for detail in the production of this show is amazing).

Richard Warren and his first wife Sybil had in fact seven children, but two unsurprisingly died when they reached the island and that was why Sarah only met five of them, who unfortunately had all been born on the island and thus couldn't leave.

Eliot putting a fucking bar of Toblerone on "his" desk like a nametag, while Parker is just casually chilling hanging off a ski lift, holding herself with one arm, and the Olympic athlete whose identity they stole for Sophie is cursing them loudly in German staring at her wikipedia page... this show is on another level

hhmmm... so, spoilers for Vampire Academy 1x09. I was okay with all the changes the show has made so far. some were harder to accept (Mikhail, the way strigoi look, Mia and Sonya being Victor's daughters), some were easier (most of the looks, like hair eyes etc, Lissa and Rose not running away yet), some were actually good (Rose and Dimitri's age difference, Adrian being introduced, Mason not dying).

but if I'm being honest, I don't think I can accept Andre being alive (and secretly held captive by Tatiana who is working with strigoi). I know I said after ep1 that I wish we got to see more of Andre, but I meant flashbacks or something. even Lissa's hallucinations were enough for me.

him being alive obviously means Lissa has her quorum and has a clear path to becoming queen - except Andre was set to become king before everything.

this also means Jill probably won't exist in the show, or at least not in the original context.

I'll hold judgement until the next episode, but right now I'm not too hopeful.

Vampire Academy 1x09 spoilers, but

with Mikhail dead, Rose on the run but Lissa still at St. Vlad's, Andre alive, Tatiana scheming with strigoi while trying to become queen, the Alchemists already introduced, Mason alive, Eddie barely even in the story, Lissa already on meds, the Royal Trials already done and over, Dimitri trapped in a cell during a strigoi invasion...

I seriously have no idea what to expect
