The patterns on the door in first and last pic are the same. The wall colour in the middle and last pic is the same. So... this might have been shot in Morocco - but where is it supposed to be story wise?

It seems, eventually Sherlock will fall into the swimming pool.

Why is Molly at the Watson’s flat?

She is there with baby Watson in ep. 1. We saw Sherlock leaving. Not sure, if they went there together and Molly stayed there or if she was there before Sherlock arrived.

In ep. 4.2 Sherlock revisits this scene in his mind palace or as a hallucination.

So my question is, why? What happened? Where are John and Mary? If Molly were just casually babysitting, I don’t think Sherlock would relive this moment in his mind. 

Does Sherlock regret the decision to leave the flat and Molly with the baby? Why?

Did something happen in the flat or did Molly something unexpected and Sherlock is now looking for clues he missed when he was there?

Is Molly saying something that Sherlock wants to revisit because of the impact the words have on his mind? (like the slap in HLV)

Episode 4.1 [Thatcher]

So, here are my thoughts on the trailer. I tried to match the scenes with the episodes (based on what I took away from setlock). 

LADY SMALLWOOD: We brought you back to deal with this. What are you doing to do?

[later?] You say, you know what he’s going to do next.

The most probable explanation is, that she’s talking to Sherlock here. And she’s wearing almost the same costume as at the end of HLV. So maybe that’s a very early scene in ep. 4.1.

SHERLOCK: Keep me informed.

MYCROFT: Of what?

SHERLOCK: absolutely no idea.

This scene could be placed in every episode. But it reminds me so much of the opening of HLV, that for me it seems most likely to be part of ep. 4.1.

JOHN: Enlighten me.

John, taking notes for a case, probably. He still has his jacket on, which could imply, that he’s still not back at 221B. But doesn’t this scene look a bit familiar? John, just arriving at 221B and quickly starting to take notes?

I know, the skull looks a bit too blue (which we saw in a hallucination scene in ep 4.2 as @cupidford pointed out), but I’m going with Lestrades costume here and put this into ep 1.

Sherlock’s having a fight with someone in a flat, we don’t know, I think. We saw BC in a red shirt on Cyncoed Road and also in the studio during ep 4.1 filming. (That’s the only reason I put this scene here). Interestingly, the person Sherlock fights with has an injury/bandage at their hand. 

Unless Arwel built a set for ep 2, when they filmed ep 1, this door is part of episode 1. Arwel tweeted a picture of a Latin 221 on April 21 - and it’s right next to this door.

As we see a torch pointing at this door, I’m also putting the other torch scene, someone in the rain, in front of a church entrance, in this episode.

In the trailer all these shots are very close together. John is driving. Next we see a car crash into another car, so that the first car expodes (yeah... tv reality...). If John was driving one of the cars (which the editing of the trailer implies), I think, John is actually in the front car that explodes. He looks at the rear mirror for a second which implies he’s the one being chased. 

The explosion happens in front of the unproncouncable house they filmed at during ep. 4.1. (thanks to @welovethebeekeeper)

And finally we have the embassy plot line. 

I think it’s a British embassy in a country with a warmer climate. We could never quite explain the fan in the setlock pics. So here we go. And this links everything to AGRA. I think, we see AGRA going into the building, doing her business, but then she gets caught. When the special agents arrive, there are two people near the table. One on the right, moving away. One on the left, sort of veiled, that seems to be actually getting out of their hiding spot and might have a gun in their hand so could aim at the agents next.

Someone mentioned that “Thatcher” might be a reference to Margaret Thatcher who was Prime Minister, when the Iranian Embassy in London face a hostage situation by terrorists that was ended by special agents upseiling from the roof...

the Special Air Service (SAS), a special forces regiment of the British Army, to conduct an assault to rescue the remaining hostages. Shortly afterwards, soldiers abseiled from the roof of the building and forced entry through the windows. During the 17-minute raid, the SAS rescued all but one of the remaining hostages, and killed five of the six terrorists. The soldiers subsequently faced accusations that they unnecessarily killed two of the terrorists, but an inquest into the deaths eventually cleared the SAS of any wrongdoing. The remaining terrorist was prosecuted and served 27 years in British prisons. (wikipedia)

As this incident took place in 1980 I don’t think, that the show actually recreates this event. But maybe they’ll use it just for reference. As I said before, I rather think this is a British embassy abroad. So maybe this time it’s a hostage situation in the British embassy in Teheran.

Will Mary be cornered at the beach? Maybe standing on a rock in the water? Guns pointed at her. (mirroring the swimming pool) And so she jumps in the water and swims away? 

Some may say she couldn’t have survived, others may be more sceptique. 

But the truth we will never know.
