She is there with baby Watson in ep. 1. We saw Sherlock leaving. Not sure, if they went there together and Molly stayed there or if she was there before Sherlock arrived.
In ep. 4.2 Sherlock revisits this scene in his mind palace or as a hallucination.
So my question is, why? What happened? Where are John and Mary? If Molly were just casually babysitting, I don’t think Sherlock would relive this moment in his mind.
Does Sherlock regret the decision to leave the flat and Molly with the baby? Why?
Did something happen in the flat or did Molly something unexpected and Sherlock is now looking for clues he missed when he was there?
Is Molly saying something that Sherlock wants to revisit because of the impact the words have on his mind? (like the slap in HLV)
Welcome to Culverton Smith’s crazy “Business Killer” show.
I really can’t tell, what the possible order could be and when Sherlock starts to hallucinating. So this is rather a random line up of all possible ep. 4.2 scenes from the trailer.
SMITH: We are going to have endless fun, Mr Holmes, aren’t we?
SHERLOCK: No, not endless.
Sherlock already has a stubble here, which I thought would first begin, when he’s getting ill. But he seems fine here... So why the stubble?
MOLLY: For Christ’s sake, Sherlock! It’s not a game.
“Game” for me is the clue word for ep. 4.2 with all the Business Killer tv stuff. And there’s a colour link to the hospital scene above with the orange.
Honestly, why does this sound like a game show slogan?
I’m putting the pool scene here, because we know they filmed something at the London Aquarium. If there’s one water related scene, why not have two? ;-)
The car chase we saw in Miskin.
Billy Wiggins, only part of the hallucinations or real as well?
Who’s Sherlock shooting?
In the mind palace/panic morgue again? Is this, where Sherlock figures out -again - how he’s going to die?
People say it’s John at (Sherlock’s?) hospital bed. Because of the posture, I’m not completely convinced, that it’s not Culverton Smith instead.
But I can totally see John visiting 221B while Sherlock is seriously ill. Maybe that’s also the moment John decides to move back in.
If Mycroft doesn’t prevent Sherlock from almost dying, then maybe that’s why Mrs Hudson gets angry at him. (What does the reptile insult even imply? being cold blooded = heartless??)
I watched the Granada adaption of the Dying Detective yesterday. And there Victor Savage, the victim who got killed by Culverton Smith by infecting him with a lethal desease, is addicted to opium. (I think, this detail is not taken from ACD canon?) He is taking opium, because he is or wants to be a poet and feels more capable of writing, when high.
So maybe, this board meeting is part of the reality tv show “Business Killer”. What’s ever in the IV bag could be either to “help” the contestants to maintain their business (helps them concentrate, or helps them being ruthless etc.) or it is meant as a challenge, hence makes them ill, while they still have to do their job.
To make it more exciting for the tv show, it could also be a game of taking a risk: Five bags will strengthen the contestants, and one will make them ill.
