Location: The rooftop of the Markins' house
Date: August 20, 2013
Company: Ellis
Event: A sunset
There was nothing special about the rooftop. It was just simply that: a roof. However, the stories told and secrets shared on that rooftop made it Simon's favorite place in the world. He would look forward to the nights that she would crawl in through his window late at night and drag him into the roof to talk and smoke for a couple of hours. They would always be exhausted the next day, but it was worth it. This picture was taken during a rare event when Ellis came home before the sun set.

Faulkner & ___ | Library
Faulkner hasn't set a foot in this place in a long time, almost a year actually. Going back to the library was a a little ritual he had on the anniversary of the day he got separated from his dad. Today wasn't the day though, but he needed to find this book he had to read and it was nowhere to be found, the library was his last hope. He had debated whether he should go or just find another way to get the book. Going there was too painful and he was ready to handle that pain sober only once a year, that's why he had decided to get really high before, hoping it would numb the pain. It was almost working, but he couldn't help but notice every changes that has been made over the years, and when he walked past the children's section where he had spent so many hours reading, he felt his heart tightening up. He shacked his head, trying to get rid of the unpleasant feeling and walked through the alley where he was supposed to find the book he was looking for. That's when he saw a familiar face. It wasn't that he disliked people, he was actually pretty comfortable around them, but he didn't felt, right now, like dealing with someone. The place was filled with too many emotions and memories for him to act like his usual self. He wouldn't want people to know that he is vulnerable. That's why he tried to hide and took another road to reach the exit unoticed. Unfortunately, as he was turning, sure that he had flew away sucessfully, he ended up in front of the person he was avoiding. He looked around him, looking for an escape, but there wasn't any, and the only thing he could do was pull himself together and smile. "Well, hello there"
The harsh chill of Northwood's merciless winter air jabbed at the pale skin that January had left exposed when getting dressed that morning, though she barely flinched. Instead of focussing on the threat of potential pneumonia, the blonde scraped a few curls that had become dislodged from the rest and proceeded down the desolate street. A lack of joy and merriment in the town was still rather prominent, even months after the disappearance of she-who-shall-not-be-named, and although January wished to pay at least a little respect to someone who apparently ceased to exist, she wanted fun too. She wanted to continue living her life as she always had, as selfish as that may have seemed. Before she could dwindle on the great loss of her dangerously toxic social life, her mind trailed back to the reason that she was roaming the streets at this hour - and on her own, at that. Where her argumentativeness wasn't appreciated at school--hence the reason she spent so little time in class and so much time in detention--it certainly was not taken lightly at home. Perhaps she did it on purpose to receive a reaction from the parents who appeared to not give a rats ass about anything but her perfect little sister, or maybe she truly couldn't hold her tongue down and stay quiet when she saw an opportunity for a debate. No one knew and she wasn't going to be the one to hand out simple, easy answers. Following the outbreak, January had been forced from the house as some kind of strategy to reprimand her and she was demanded to cool down and "think about what she had done" before returning. Kicking at a loose piece of cobble as she slumped down the walkway, she came to an abrupt halt as she collided with something...or someone. Backing up a step or two from the figure to gain a better understanding as to who it was, January mumbled some kind of pathetic apology before taking a deep breath to grab some composure. "I don't think it's safe to be walkin' around here at this time of the night - who knows what psychos are looming?"

Nothing could ever compare to what Jenna felt like on that early evening. With the calm and subtle wind brushing softly through her hair; the sun planting kisses all along her stark white skin. The first time she had really felt it since being a tiny girl, freedom at its purest. All happening because of the simple decision of leaving her schoolwork on her bed and pushing the worries of learning the next dance move to the back of her head. It seems kind of silly and doesn't look or sound like a time that would be worthy of recognition in anyone's mind, but in fact; it is one of her memories that stands out the most. The moment was beautiful, running around with her arms in the air just feeling life at its best. All because she just stopped working so hard, even if it was just for a half hour. She went against her own need to get things done for one of the first times in her life and honestly, Jenna would kill to feel like that again.
