they were walking down a hallway, but her eyes weren’t focused on the way. jooeun held onto the taller’s arm so she wouldn’t end up stumbling on something or take a wrong turn, but she wasn’t paying much attention to him either. he had complained about it already, but her ears simply blocked his voice out.
“wow, isn’t he just gorgeous?” her fingers zoomed in and out of the same picture displayed on her phone, admiring every single imperfection he didn’t have. although she had the best boyfriend anyone could have right by her side, jooeun’s crush on bart swanson was a known constant in her life. the top quidditch player for the puddlemere united was often complimented on his appearance - many adding that it was all he had, but the girl knew he was just as much of an amazing chaser as he was handsome.
her ears managed to catch his groan of complaint after a long time of neglection. she couldn’t help herself but smile behind closed lips, finally looking up at the boy that kept her company. “what was that for? you know it’s true.” he looked back down at her, the expression on his face already making her guess what he was going to say. “that guy? i’m much more good looking than he is!”
she huffed, running a finger through her phone to show another picture. “just look at him!” the girl raised her hand for the other to see, almost slamming the thing into his face. with another grunt daniel took the phone from her hand, raising it even higher than she could reach. “hey!” her arm was as stretched as it could be, the other that had been holding onto him trying to push him down, but her efforts were useless. “i just want to show you what real gorgeous is.”
the taller opened the front camera, starting to make the perfect pose for a picture. jooeun quit trying to stop him as soon as she realized what he was going on. she didn’t even try hiding her smile either, flashing her teeth at the beautiful sight. he had distracted himself, head turned up to get the perfect angle, so each one of her hands grabbed one of his shoulders, pushing him just a little bit lower so her lips could reach his jawline.
he looked back at her, a surprised look on his face covered by a smile. jooeun raised her hand again, signaling from the phone to her palm with her eyebrows. “come on. i never said he was the most gorgeous.” daniel gave in, returning the thing to her possession - but before his attempt of a kiss could be successful the girl moved forward, continuing to walk down the hallway.
“hey!” she kept walking, eyes glued to the picture he had managed to take. daniel was as good looking as he ever was while she held onto his shoulders right below him. with a giggle, her fingers did quick work of setting it as her new lockscreen, excited to see it next time she picked up her phone. “at least tell me who it is, then!” jooeun turned on her heels, staring at the boy who had let himself stay behind. she cupped her mouth with both hands, leaning forward so the sound would reach him faster.
“kang daniel is the most gorgeous man in this universe!”
