Fears | Daniel
@epdaniel
Theo trusted Daniel enough to meet him by the lake. It wasn’t exactly a place that Theo liked being, with its murky waters and unforeseeable horrors. As they walked the rocky path, littered with trees they made small talk, talking about all matters, none of them important. He wouldn’t tell Theo why exactly, they had to meet by the lake. Something that frustrated the Ravenclaw greatly. He was the type of person who had every specific about something, especially when it involved his biggest fear.
“Would you just tell me why we’re here?” He spat out, he was getting indignant with the other boy, the more they walked the more he frustrated he got. Finally, they stopped at a clearing. The water of the lake was clear, but still dark and foreboding in Theo’s mind. The other boy motioned for Theo to get closer; Daniel was unafraid to stand close to the edge, where the rocks and water met, but Theo was more cautious. So as the other kept waving for Theo to come closer, the boy just kept shaking his head. There was no way his friend was going to get him closer to the water.
That’s what Theo thought but Daniel had other plans. A hand latched onto Theo’s wrist just as he was taking a step back. He was pulled closer; Theo could see from the look in Daniel’s eyes that he was up to no good. As the two inched closer and closer Theo began to break out in a cold sweat. Somehow he was in front of Daniel as they got to the last small space of rocky edge. Then, with a small laugh, Theo was pushed into the water.
There was a large splash, as icy water stung Theo’s skin. His clothes were soaked. He lay in the shallow waters of the lake, stunned. It didn’t take long before that confusion turned to anger and a deafening scream rippled through the woods.
“Daniel you are so dead!”
