what's your general opinion on Kazumi Magica? the fandom that doesn't try to push it under the rug seems to have very mixed opinions.

My general opinion is that Kazumi Magica is quite possibly the best product in the entire Madoka Franchise (Surpassed only by The Different Story) Kazumi Magica to me is EVERYTHING I want about the Puella Magi universe.

It takes the Madoka formula and toys with it, creating new concepts, exploring the nature of their power and how much they can dwell into it, it shows Puella Magi actively fighting against the system and even managing to trick Kyubey, it also goes one step above other products by being the first one to have LEGIT villanous Puella Magi (Oriko and Kirika don’t really count since they aren’t really evil) one is deep, the other is not as explored but it is a really cool concept and the last one is just fascinating.

Not to mention it has my favorite human character in the Puella Magi franchise, Misako Ishijama, I like her because she is the only human character who actually is somehow aware of the existance of Puella Magi and Witches and investigates on the matter, I’ve always have a hard time believing NO ONE in the Puella Magi universe has noticed them, but characters like her tell me this isn’t the case and I like that a lot.

Overall I really enjoy Kazumi Magica, does it have problems? Tons of them, but I can overlook them because it does what a spin off work should do, expand the universe and so far, only Kazumi and Tart have done so and that’s why I like it a lot, I wish more fans would give the series love.

It was impossible that she had found some sort of magical trail, that she had left behind when she left for this world. She needed to calm down. Perhaps she was just here to visit the hero... Without another thought, Iris binds down her magic, trying to mask her presence. It was still something she had to perfect, given she still didn’t have full control over the demonic magic granted to her by the potions. She pulls her hood over her face, and casts her gaze downward, as she passes the other.
