Emi blinked at the familiar face, trying to piece together why she was here- was something wrong? As glad as she was to see her friend she couldn’t help but think of the worst. She quickly moved to meet the smaller, offering a smile before the look of concern beat it out.

“Emeralda? Is everything okay?”

Emi didn’t know why but she was sure this girl was staring at her. The red headed hero returned the gaze in silence for a few moments, as if waiting for the other to speak. When they sat there in an odd silence she finally spoke first.

“Can I help you?”

Emi didn’t know what to make of it really- it was the same dread she felt seeing Lucifer again, the feeling of failure. It was not something she liked to have to partake in often honestly, and honestly how many times had she failed then if she hadn’t even done this right!?

“H-How are you here!?”

Emi promptly made her was into the room, slamming the door open in frustration, audibly stomping anyways. The girl’s face was practically as red as her hair for the moment, her temper obviously flaring up.

“What is the matter with your stupid overlord!?”

Emi listened quietly from her spot under the stairs, narrowing her gaze at the rustling sounds- it probably was something stupid, but probably guaranteed tonight and she was not taking that risk at this point, she had worked too hard to just stop caring, even if it always seemed to be something stupid. The hero carefully made her way up those stupid stairs, walking into the room without any warning, not bothering to knock.

“What the hell are you doing?”
