"donghyun! i'll be back soon, i'm just going to hang out with some friends who came to visit." you were super excited to meet with your friends from australia again.

"yeah, ok." but as for donghyun, he was somewhat jealous. most of your friends were actually guys….

as the door closed to your shared apartment, donghyun fumbled with the remote as he flicked through channels to get his mind off of what could happen while you were with your friends.

his phone dinged as he looked at the notification, you had posted something on your instagram. it was a picture of you and your friends. donghyun tightly held his phone as he regretted letting you go out with some of your guy friends. he groaned laying back on the soft couch as he waited for you to come home.

in the meanwhile, you had been catching up with your friends as they had some korean bbq. "so y/n, how are you and donghyun?" jaeyoon said while eating. "we’re good, how about you guys? seeing anyone?" you smirked making a wrap to eat.

"eh, studies have us backed up. you know how it is." jiyeop mentioned sighing shortly after. "when are you going to come visit us in australia? you know your family and everyone else misses you. you could even bring donghyun with since you told us that he said he’d like to visit before." barom smiled. "that'd be a really good idea." you chuckled thinking about how fun a trip to australia with donghyun would be.

you all talked and ate before everyone seperated and you felt sad that your friends were leaving already.

as you opened the door, you were met with an angry donghyun at the door. he stood with his arms crossed.

"so you've been out since past 2 and came back at almost 11 at night. i was worried." he mumbled softly but loud enough for you to hear, before walking towards the couch.

you took off your shoes before following him to the couch and sitting down. “i haven't seen them in forever love….” he stayed silent staring at the tv with a blank face. "were you jealous?" you said, an evident smirk plastered across your face.

his face became as red as a tomato when you started laughing as you found it cute that your boyfriend was jealous. "baby, there was nothing to be jealous about. we're all just good friends, trust me. as cheesy and cringey as this sounds, my heart belongs to you only."

that was all he needed to hear before pulling you onto his lap and embracing you and smothering your face in little kisses. "next time i'm coming along, ok?" he said pouting playfully.

"sure. they'Il meet you when we go to australia to visit next month.”

you groaned in bed tossing and turning around from the sharp pains in your stomach, holding a heating patch on your tummy. you scrunched the bedsheet with your hand as hard as you could as the feeling in your stomach felt like you were getting punched in there several times. you kept yourself busy by watching youtube on your phone but you got bored of it after a while and decided to play some music. when the fifth song just about got to the chorus your phone went silent and you immediately checked it knowing it was probably someone calling you.

the contact name 'hyunwoo <3 ' displayed on your screen. you hesitantly picked up. "hi baby! what are you up to?". you knew where this was going and thought about lying to him and saying you're busy, but you didn’t wanna lie to your boyfriend just because of some cramps. "nothing really…. what about you?" you replied. "well, we finished practice early today and i have the rest of the day off, so i was wondering if i could come over?" you could hear how happy he was from his tone of voice. he absolutely adored you and wanted to spend time together whenever he could, and normally you would be the same, but you were just not up for it right now and didn’t wanna be a bother to him.

“hyunwoo, i dont think hanging out today is a good idea.” you said, the tone of your voice soft and calm, knowing he would be disappointed with your answer. "why?" he said sounding a little curious and let down as you expected. "it’s just that i don’t feel too well". his tone suddenly took a turn and he was back to being his cheerful self. "but if my girl is feeling a little down, i absolutely have to come over and cheer her up! and dont even try stop me, i’m already on my way!" he then hung up. it was like you could feel the smirk he had on his face as he said that last sentence through the phone.

you realised you looked like total garbage and thought of changing before he arrived. you were wearing a oversized t-shirt, a pair of sweatpants, fluffy socks and your hair in a messy bun. not one of those cute wearable ones, but an actual mess. being too lazy to do anything about it you decided not to change as you couldn’t bother putting in the effort right now. you heard a knock on your door and you slowly got yourself up and out of bed, dragging yourself over to the door while clenching your stomach with one hand. you opened the door with the other revealing a smiley hyunwoo.

when he saw your state his smile quickly faded. "y/n you look horrible! are you okay?" he exclaimed. "wow, thanks. happy to see you too" you said sarcastically as you left him by the door and went back to your bed in your room, sitting in the middle of it. he entered, shut the door and decided to join you in your room. hyunwoo leaned on the door frame of your room, he sighed, "i’m sorry love, i didn’t mean it like that. you know im always happy to see you, no matter how you look" he quietly let out a chuckle before coming and sitting next to you on your bed. You lightly patted his thigh "but what has gotten my girl feeling down hm?" he said and hugged your waist while nuzzling his face into your neck giving you light pecks, instantly making you smile.

"your girl is down because she is on her period and her cramps are killing her" you said and turned properly to face him. "oh! well have you tried painkillers?" you gave him a light flick on his forehead and he let out a small ‘ow.” :(. "don’t you think i’ve already thought about that? i’m in too much pain to go buy some" you said while watching him rub his forehead from the pain. when he put his hand down you kissed his forehead where you had flicked him a few seconds earlier.

“then i'll be your knight in shining armour and go buy you some!" he said and gave you a quick peck on your lips. “really?" You exlaimed in happiness. "yes really!, why didn’t you just call me earlier and let me know, i would’ve stopped by the pharmacy and picked up some for you" He laughed. ‘i… didn’t want to make you worry or be a bother to you, because i know how stressed you are from work.” “Babe… you will and will never be a bother to me, please don’t say that! i’m your boyfriend and i’m supposed to worry about you. i love you so much.”

you jumped on him and hugged him and he instantly hugged back. you filled his face with pecks while saying a ‘thank you!" between each one. You eventually gave him one last peck before saying ‘i love you too.’ and letting him go so he could buy the painkillers.

after he had left, you had gone back to clenching onto your duvet and holding onto your pillow for your dear life. after a while, he still wasn’t back yet, making you a little worried. your worried thoughts quickly faded when you're front door opened. you couldn’t see who it was from your room but since you had given hyunwoo your keys earlier, you knew he was the only one who could get in to your place.

he soon entered your room with a bag that was filled with various stuff. he searched in the bag for something and tossed you the painkillers. he then left the room and came back with a glass of water. he sat beside you and rubbed your back as you took a painkiller and gulped down the water. when you were done he took the glass and put it on your nightstand. he then lifted the bag up on your bed and emptied the contents out. you could see different types of chocolates, snacks and ice-cream.

“i didnt know what you were craving so i just bought a little bit of everything i thought you would like" he said while scratching the nape of his neck. you were shocked at the amount of stuff he had bought. "even though i love you for buying all this for me, i’ll gain like 10 kilograms, if i eat all of this" you said and laughed. "i dont care if you gain 10 kilograms, as long as you are happy and comfortable! i’ll love you no matter what, i couldn’t care less about how much you weigh.”

you interwined your hands with his and looked into his eyes. you heart almost melting at how cute he looks. "hyunwoo, have i ever told you that you're the best boyfriend i could ever ask for?" his smile grew wide at your words, and a slight blush appeared on his cheeks. "no, but i could get used to hearing that more often.” he said smugly. you snaked your arms around his neck and kissed him.

he responded almost immediately and placed his hands on the small of your back pulling you closer. you kissed for quite a while, before you had to pull away for air. you guys stayed in that position for a little while longer just admiring eachother in comfortable silence. you eventually ended up lying down, hugging each other.

after a while you suggested watching a movie. he agreed and got up to get your laptop. you decided on a movie and placed the laptop down in front of you both. you were now sitting against hyunwoo, your back on his chest, and him leaning up against the headboard of your bed. his arms were resting on your sides and his hands caressing your stomach, while your hands were resting on his.

he grabbed a bite of your chocolate before asking, "have your cramps disappeared yet?" you nodded and stroked his arm. "thank you, for coming and helping your stubborn girlfriend." "i'll be your night in shining armour any time babe." He said and kissed the top of your head.
