We’re all stuck in tight little boxes determined by what other people expect from us and how they judge our actions.

But Stanford was an entirely different experience. For the past month, I was able to truly be myself and form unbelievably strong bonds with all types of incredible people. And although one month isn’t a very long time, I know for a fact I’ve forged some lifelong friendships. I’ve also learned quite a bit about myself and who I want to be, as well as what I’ve got to do to get there.

I just hate being in this little box here.

Hey guys! i'd like to take a moment to feature a sort of collaborative blog that I'm participating in at the current time! Youngseers is a Tumblr for a summer creative writing and poetry course that I'm in now, and some of the writing is actually breathtaking. I'd also like to remind you that all this was done by a group of kids around 12 and 13. Some of my poetry will be in it too (though I will probably be reblogging it so that it's sort of under my own name), so I'd really appreciate it if you checked it out!
