But 😳😳 Epi is still tiny sized…

(I imagine Epi got gravely injured/dead and Shattered still failed to protect him and started a new loop, or despite being corrupted Shattered dies somehow idk, it doesn’t really matter why)

Shattered starting another loop!! Sigh… he thought he was done with this (he thought he didn’t fail for once…)!

Except he starts the time loop as himself. Not himself when he was young, himself as he was! Shattered! He’s goopy, corrupted, tentacles still sprout from his back. He’s not a child! He’s missing an eye!

He seeks Epi immediately!! And his brother is obviously off put??? This is not his brother!!!

Shattered nearly begs Epi to believe him and Epi recognizes his brother, under all the goop and grime.

And now that Shattered is still corrupted and powerful and he and Epi are together! Shattered is letting nothing hurt him!! Esp not some village!!

And maybe Shattered becomes smitten with his brother’s small form, and hands, and wide eyes and just loves holding him and giving him kisses!! And when Shattered oh so devotedly declares he will protect Epi at all costs, his tiny brother becomes smitten too!!

I know this is about the epiari (epishattered?) but this makes me think... is the tree still in tact then? did they just reset to shortly after the incident? how much does Epiales really remember and how much is play pretend... COUGHS

maybe Epiales would still have trouble believing Shattered even after he becomes smitten, just imo... Like of course, he recognises his very brother, he always would! but at the same time, is that really his brother? And which of these ways would make it ok for him to like him..? (Yes. To me,, epiales struggles with affection..)

also i wholeheartedly believe shattered devoted himself to any and all forms his brother has . like a weirdo yet as he should 😇🙂‍↕️

hehe. he tries really hard to not be creepy about it (they're not the same height but they're the same age! physically!) .. if this really works.. who knows xp not like there's anyone that would see it or judge them because Shattered just kills them before they can further look at Epiales!

HEHEHE yes,,,, i think it'd be like, in the middle of those loops then, during the time at the village but it's still another 50% of time before Ariadne/Dream would've gone and taken the black apples into consideration... (in the stages of grief talk; likely somewhere in bargaining/depression, where he questions if it's even possible to escape) .... in my heart, Epi heard him out and they maybe ran away... because this doesnt cause anyone to die as well it'd mean that the loops dont reset and theyre able to exist together!!! ^_^

(Wow,,,, I'm imagining them living in bliss for SO long!! Cute old married couple.... only for SOMETHING to happen. Eri dies, and the hundred of years the spent together come to an end when Ari resets the loop..... they grieve the time together, but holds it close to their soul as they start the next loop. (That's probably the longest loop they'll have together))

so you know how shattered has shight and shattermare as ship names (for each Nightmare respectively), but what about Epiales (and potentially Ariadne).... Epiari maybe?

Epiales learns of all the sacrifices, time loops, Ariadne has gone through and how could he not love his brother with everything he has?? When Ariadne has given him everything they have.
