I'll leave you on this #FlashBackFriday with one more post to take you into the weekend. Another shot from the LPWA-PNW trip last July. During the day while we were waiting for the sun to go down so we could do Lightpainting @chrisbauer_lightpainter took everyone at camp on a hike to get a full view of Mount Saint Helens. Along the way, my thoughts drifted back to when I was a kid in the 3rd grade & really interested in volcanology. I remembered reading way back then about the great eruption of 1980 & how much devastation the volcano left on the surrounding areas. When we got to this view I was left in pure awe. No photo I'd ever seen, not even this photo I, myself took, did any justice to this sleeping giant. The clouds eventually lifted over its summit to where we could see pristine blue skies & a snow covered cap. It really put life into perspective of how miniscule our problems are in the grand scheme of things & how precious our lives are as they can be wiped out in an instant.
