Oh my... this one fought me every step of the way. I guess I deserve it for choosing such a complicated motif, when others had drawn it more smoothly. 😅

Anyway, fans of Epic or the Odyssey in general might recognize the scene. It's Odysseus coming back to Penelope after being apart for 20 years. The blood of the suitors he just killed is still clinging onto him as are the ghosts of his crew.

Yes! Yes it is! I FINALLY gave him a design (reference sheet pending lol).

He is telling Penelope that Odysseus is home :) the little guy 100% ran the moment he was out of his dads view after I Can but Wonder (In my eyes at least)

Also enjoy a little silly and sketchy “comic” of Telemarket full of emotions and Penelope comforting her son.

And it's Hermes and Odysseus! (again lol) 

So! I've been working on this project on and off for the past two weeks, and it is FINALLY DONE!!

After a shitty two week trip, a nine hour drive that ended with a panic attack so bad I had to pull over, TWO (yes TWO!) sprained ankles…I have FINALLY found the motivation to finish this drawing of Hermes and Odysseus (In total this drawing took me almost 13 hours btw…Crazy right-).

Yes Hermes got a redesign and also Odysseus is around 12 years into his journey and is wearing more casual wear, that's why his outfit and design are different from how I usually draw him. :)

I gave Polites a concept design, This is very much subject to change and may change in the future as usually my designs change as I learn more about a character or I see other designs and like those as well.

This was also drawn fully on a live stream on TikTok two days ago if anyone is ever interested in coming to vibe and watch me draw then I’m gonna try to do one of those once a week, I draw a character (or maybe work on an animatic) listen to musicals, ramble and sing along. Just overall a good time 🙂

And since  I still love my main boys Hermes and Apollo, I decided to also throw Telemachus into the mix…
