Had to read the Iliad for school, this was my final project, loved it too much not to share. The theme was glory, so I chose to write a poem turning it on its head instead showing how women tended to suffer while men became heroes, this is from Cassandra’s point of view speaking to her twin brother.
We need more Cassandra and Helenus works, this is do good I cant-

Imagine getting a tomboy girlfriend. She is quick, charismatic, good at music and dance, strong, adventurous, and passionate... And it turns out he's a boy
And before anyone says it's nothing, ¿How would you feel if your cute and effeminate femboys were actually women?
And then he'll leave you to go to war with his boyfriend only to drag your son to the battlefield a few years later.
Did you know that there's an author on YouTube who has a demo for their musical "All Fall Together" and it includes a song with Paris and golden apple problem and the whole Cassandra theme (which features Helenus, Hector and Andromache)? So no one can believe Cassandra, right?
If we step away from the potential curse for a moment, it's actually quite logical that not even few people would believe her back then, especially a woman, who suddenly claimed to know god. But I started thinking, what about someone who was in a similar situation?
It's no secret that Paris isn't the most popular person in Troy, and I don't think Cassandra particularly harbored much love for him. But what if they had once had a conversation?
Wat if, when Cass was on edge after a terrifying vision that no one believed, after which she was simply sent to her room to avoid disturbing the peace, and only that one time, Paris had followed her? Of course, she wasn't happy and screamed that it was all his fault and that he should get out, but Paris said he believed her, and that silenced her for a moment. She let him talk so he told the whole story. He met Hermes, Hera, Athena and Aphrodite, so why shouldn't he believe his sister only met Apollo?
And now, after all this history, comes the moment of reconciliation between the siblings in their shared vulnerable situation. Well, except not because Cassandra is like:
"You literally had a choice that would have made you finally useful, and you chose to have own sex doll??? OH PARIS YOU CROOKED DI-" meanwhile hitting him with fists.
Yeah, Cassandra wasn't happy and Paris didn't see it coming. He didn't meet Apollo, you know.

This is absolutely how it should have ended. I'm terribly angry that no one cared about Luci's poor condition and that Vaggi acted... like that. I'm glad this fic fixes everything!
