Bech omgggggg your gemsona is so awesome! I love that you incorporated the cracked aspect, and that limited color palate is to die for q v q
AAAAA thank you! ;_; I might be pretty off when it comes to how Gems act when their gems are cracked, but I thought it’d be fun to write/draw a super sinister gem.
AND YESSS, I’m glad you liked her color palette, too! I’m not too good at coloring original designs, but I’m happy with how that came out. PLUS, PINK.
epicthetit replied to your post:I think we should replace the “Winter is Coming”...
Ya know, where I work (the Disney Store), Frozen’s been here since the first. There’s nothing coming about it. It will never leave. the sing alongs will never leave. help
True, but I have a feeling that there's gonna be a hundred times more Frozen stuff than usual when winter comes around.
Howell and Sienna with Sphallolalia, Dystopia, and Lygerastia, You're welcome
(Under a cut because long.)
Sphallolalia - Flirtatious talk that leads no where.
"Hey, baby."
"I'm not an infant, Howell."
"Baaaaaabe." Howell's tail flicked around aimlessly as he rolled on Sienna's futon, pouting up at her. She folded her arms.
"What did you do." It wasn't even a question.
Howell grinned sheepishly. "Nothing~" he trilled, rolling so he was sitting up, "I just thought it would be nice if you--"
"Oh so you DID do it?"
Howell shot to his feet, which actually took a significantly long amount of time because of the whole hooves situation. "It was romantic, okay!" he shouted, pointing an accusing finger at his girlfriend.
"It was the opposite of romantic."
"There were ROSE PETALS."
Sienna paused to push over her desk chair, then climbed onto it, so she was now head and shoulders above Howell. "Howell. The rose petals were in the bathroom I share with my suitemates."
He simply shrugged. "Now they know how sweet and caring your amaaaazing boyfriend is."
"They spelled 'DO ME'."
"Your point?" Howell's grin turned into more of a leer as he anticipated her next words.
"I AM SO KICKING YOU OUT!"
"Yep, that's about what I thought."
Dystopia - Am imaginary place of total misery. A metaphor for hell.
It wasn't dark. Most people would have thought it would be dark, but Howell could see everything, everyone. Maybe it was just his eyes, but the faces of every person in this place (Hell, he reminded himself, and his birthplace) stood out starkly in his mind. Features and colors he recognized and did not, but there was this overwhelming feeling of something missing.
He was looking for someone.
She wasn't there.
She wasn't there.
How could she not be there? He'd planned this out so carefully, to make sure that they would spend eternity together and she was gone.
Howell sunk to his knees, his newly replaced wings folding back against his body. Well, he thought bitterly, Hell wouldn't be Hell unless he was missing the one thing that made his life heavenly.
Lygerastia - The condition of one who is only amorous when the lights are out.
"Get the lights," Sienna ordered, extracting herself from Howell's arms and pointedly looking at him as though she expected him to reach for the switch.
"Why?" he asked, staying seated next to her.
"Because," she replied, getting up so that she could turn them off herself. Before she could make her way across the room, Howell grabbed her arm.
"Hey. Don't," he said, not sure if it was direction or request. "It's not like your parents are home or anything."
"I'm just used to it," she replied, tugging at him, but he refused to let go.
"Why do you want them off?" he asked again.
She sighed. "It doesn't matter. Leave them on. Let's just watch a movie or something." Howell frowned and let go of her, watching as she shuffled with the stack of DVDs on the end table.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yeah," she replied, putting in a movie they'd seen before anyways. "I'm not really in the mood for anything else."
