Starting a new seizure medication tonight: Brivaracetam (Briviact). It's new to the market and FDA approved. It is a lesser version of Keppra. The doctors are stopping the tegretol (carbamazepine) which I have been taking since I was diagnosed. I'm gonna continue taking the lamictal.
