Day Twenty-Two

So Since I am on the final Dose of my step ups I figured I would stop the Dose day in there. Plus...well it would be weird to put Twenty-One One...Twenty-Two Two for the rest of my posts.

I literally did nothing today. I stayed in my pjs and watched Supernatural for most of my day. I have Church in the morning. I Need to get an appointment to get my brakes replaced and Possibly going to get my nails done tomorrow plus the mention of other plans that hopefully won’t be broken this time! I meant to call the place across the street today and see about getting my brakes replaced but I honestly forgot.

I made the Bulletin for church only to realize that after switching from one company to the next my printer was having issues connecting. Spent the last half an hour fixing the problem and now I am going to see about getting ready for bed. And by getting ready I literally mean putting what is on my bed away and taking some medicine. I didn’t even both putting my contacts in today.

This is also a Three Day Weekend thanks to Memorial Day. I need to figure out something for Monday that gets me out of the house. I guess we will see what happens.

This may technically be Post 21 of a 22 day experience but I am very proud of myself for keeping up with it every day. We will see how well it continues though...it’s only been 21 days since I decided to do this. I know that this is the first time in my Tumblr History that I have said I am going to post every day and that I actually have...for more than 2 days.

Anyway. I better get to bed since Dallas will be waiting for me in the morning. Until Tomorrow!

Denied! When I received my last Ocrevus treatment (4.13.21) I discussed starting a new medication with my PA that may help with my leg as well as exhaustion. Of course they had to get it approved by the insurance company as usual, but Friday I received a sweet love note from the insurance company denying the coverage of the medication. 😡🤬😤! . . It stated I could call the prescribing doctor as well as file an appeal. I get the “process”, but when it’s your health that is in the middle of it, frustrating doesn’t even describe it. 😞 . . Luckily I opened it Saturday and had a few days to cool off. I called my neurologist office and left a message and was told a nurse would get back with me. To my surprise 20 mins later the nurse called me back and said they are handling the appeal and just is just hoops we have to jump through. I was so relieved to hear I wouldn’t have to take care of the paper work aspect for the appeal! Just got out of 7 days on the psych ward.  Started on a new med- Risperidone, an antipsychotic...let’s see how this goes.  I already relapsed on alcohol.  Hopefully it’s just a slip up and not a really bad relapse.

Starting a new seizure medication tonight: Brivaracetam (Briviact). It's new to the market and FDA approved. It is a lesser version of Keppra. The doctors are stopping the tegretol (carbamazepine) which I have been taking since I was diagnosed. I'm gonna continue taking the lamictal. Day Thirty-Three

Both dogs slept in my bed last night. It also means they woke me up when their bladders were full. Or when they felt like barking. I did NOT feel like waking up this morning. I felt better throughout the day. Even though it was hotter than the weather app said it would be. Ahh but the amazing smell of rain. Around 6pm it started to smell like it was going to rain and about 8 it started raining. It was amazing. I am craving a storm though lol safe storm of course. I am ready for the days to pass and to be at the end of the month already! Work seems to be going quickly but...I am not going out of my way to work off the clock and all that anymore. It makes me exhausted. Anyway...To avoid more exhaustion... Until Tomorrow! Good Night World!

Day Thirty-Two

It was actually not too difficult to wake up this morning though I did get woken up a bunch by the dogs and noises around the house I guess one of the times I woke up I left my door open and everything was much louder than I am used to. Can't remember what I heard or when it was though. It was so hot at work today...Terrible!!!!!! But it is supposed to be cool the rest of the week! Yay! I am not staying late this week at work...I know I should to recover more money but mentally I can't do it...I feel awake and exhausted at the same time...Maybe has to do with the Insomnia side effect of the lexapro? Idk...I am still at 1 sleeping pill though. I have one dog in my room tonight. We will see if that helps. Until Tomorrow! Good Night World!
