Good morning, I’m in awe at God’s beautiful creation.

Many times we take it for granted. So I implore you, go out and look at your surroundings for a while. Ground yourself. Take in the sky, the birds, the rustling of leaves, the scent of the earth... You’ll be glad you did.

A prayer for the day:

“Gracious God, for love you created all things and gave me life and strength that I might love you and know your love for me; as Jesus commanded us to love you with all our heart, soul, and mind and to love our neighbor. Let my heart rejoice in your life and let that overflow my life to those you call me to love. Amen.” - from St. Augustine’s Prayer Book.

Lord Jesus, in thy face, I see God and know myself. I believe; help thou my unbelief. Amen.

Breathe in: Lord, I believe

Breathe out: Help thou my unbelief

Our breath is the gift of life from God. He breathed into our nostrils to bring us to life, in the story of Genesis.

God IS life, God is in breathing.
