that imagery is really sticking with me… no longer being able to move on one’s own, but pulled, shifted, shaped into whatever form at the whims of another… a quiet pantomime of normalcy… more than not having to, not being able to make any of one’s own decisions ever again…
change still occuring, but at a kind of distance, there’s nothing much that can be done about it, so it’s perfectly free to not matter or to matter the world…
the certainty that someone knows what they’re doing becoming simple fact, not even a reassurance, because it is simply always present, underlying every moment of one’s life…

The part of Harry's interview that made the most headlines was his comment about Charles. Whilst speaking about his desire for reconciliation with his family and how "life is precious", Harry said he didn't know how long his father had left.
Many people reacted negatively to this statement, as Charles is undergoing treatment for cancer. A bigger issue with the statement is that it undermines the stability of the countries where Charles is the Head of State.
It is unlikely Harry meant any malice in his comments and it would be unfair to attribute unkindness to him. Despite this, Harry has been a public servant and is aware of the power of his comments.

After losing his court case, Prince Harry sat down for a thirty minute interview with Nada Tawfik. During the interview, he took aim at several groups: the final group was the Royal Household.
It is a fact that members of the Royal Household sit on the board of RAVEC. Harry has suggested that they sat on this board to force a decision, specifically the decision to remove his security. Harry also insinuated that the decisions were made specifically to hope "history would repeat itself".
Sir Edward Young, Private Secretary to the late Queen, and Sir Clive Alderton, Private Secretary to the King, both sat on the board of RAVEC. While Harry suggested that Charles, William, and even Camilla, were heavily involved in this decision, he neglected to mention that there was only one person in charge of the Royal Household at the time in question - Queen Elizabeth II.
