This moment here will never stop breaking my heart. You see determination in Sasuke's eyes. Maybe a little bit of fear too? What if he lost to Itachi? What if he can't get his dead parents justice? He's lived for this moment. What if he meets the same fate he did years ago? He must win.
Then in Itachi's eyes reflecting in Sasuke's sword there's a sadness. He's in visible PAIN here. He's hurting because he has to fight Sasuke, the person he loves the most. He knows he's the reason this day came. He's not backing out, but he's a human, bound by human emotions, now beginning to take over him as the time of his death draws nearer.
This will always be heartbreaking to me. 💔💔
