edmond - beta. he could easily be an omega, but i think it's fun for him to struggle with desire that isn't imperative. like! he should give into the sweet, sweet frivolity of being railed to next tuesday.
while a heat could definitely push him over the edge, i'm reminded of his story h-room with eiden where eiden pretends to curse him and make him 'fall in love'. and even after the fake curse (the effects of essence disregulation) is dispelled, he still feels things.
olivine - omega. very influenced by @wet-poodle-nudes, of course. while i think having him undergo a struggle similar to edmond above is very epic, i think being an omega suits olivine better because he's such an object of admiration. the duality of his body being used for others (being desires, being used for labor) verses him being unable to take care of his own needs, bodily needs, due to the church, is very nice.
it also suits olivine because he's a perfect omega? and his outside persona is very much about perfection.
dante - alpha. similiar to olivine, his outside persona is all about perfection. he would be the perfect alpha, from the outside. (and from the inside, he would argue). generally, being an alpha also explains his usual blindspots towards normal communication/empathy/sweetness, which he might be more inclined to invest in if he were an omega.
generally, i'm inclined towards alpha dante because i think it suits the narrative of him becoming the sun lord he always wished to be.
omega dante is very interesting though hehe. mostly because dante would probably be very much the same; he'd just be struggling that much harder against stereotypes and assumptions.
either way, i believe both omega and alpha dante are on mega suppressants because he is, generally, too busy to fuck and wasn't super interested in anyone (until eiden). (plus like. looking at the floresan event update. he would not trust people to chill with him on his cycle.)
rei - beta. i think the idea of him being (kinda) neutral towards sex while still needing essence is interesting. generally, i think he would masquerade as a omega for most honeytraps. he doesn't even have to do much to pretend. a lot of alphas and betas talk down to him + tell him about all of the 'ideal omega' traits he exhibits. how he must be gagging for it. while he just sits there and lets it roll over him so he can get what he needs. lots of 'experiencing what a farce it all is'.
quincy - alpha. similar to olivine and dante, but specifically during his shounen era (aka when he lived with the tribe). he used to be the perfect hero guy! even though he's a tired old guy now, he still carries a bit of that golden boy charm, so alpha feels fitting for him. i think omega is also suitable for him given his protective nature. him being ripped away from the home he was protecting fits very well with both alpha and omega vibes.
kuya - beta. similar to rei, kuya is also experiencing the farce of dynamics, albeit from more of an outsider view. generally, i think being 'above it all' suits him while everyone else fucks like animals. i do acknowledge his breeding kink. i think that makes this assignment kinda funny tbh. also, breeding kink rights for betas. i mean. he still gets the knot regardless on account of being a fox yokai. so.
yakumo - alpha. fits his vibe and him being afraid of his 'big, scary, powerful' inherent nature. if he were an omega, i think he'd be a scary omega, haha. very possessive, no matter the dynamic.
garu + karu - omega. i dont really have complex thoughts on this one, it really is just vibes. well- actually. i think it fits karu's whole vibe on how he doesn't want garu to be taken advantage of, how he dislikes the reactions of their body, and where it slots into the narrative. they're both pretty vulnerable and omegas are generally seen as more vulnerable.
eiden, aster + morvay, huey, rin, blade - nulls!! eiden's not from there + him and everyone else were created as constructs. so. they're just chilling
