Stand Together Against Violence by Paula Kirman
A bear was spotted in Edmonton and this is how Edmonton’s police decided to report it on Twitter.
That one hurt right in the gut. Rest in peace. (via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_6tkrfMdgs)
Anybody want to go play with chalk? #epsstrong
It's a very sad morning for our city as we remember and honor Cst. D. Woodall, who was killed in the line of duty a little more than a week ago. It's been over 25 years since tragedy has struck the Edmonton Police Service and our city has been overwhelmed with grief and support for the #EPS. From watching the thousands upon thousands of police and first responders march in the processional this morning, to watching the service live on TV, I have been a blubbering mess. You see, my father is a retired RCMP and my brother is an Edmonton Police Officer. Every day men and women go to work whether as police, as firefighters, as EMT, not knowing if they will come home to their families and friends at the end of their shift. Every day these courageous people put their lives before ours, in the name of honor and duty. They fight for our safety. Every. Single. Day. RIP Cst. Woodall Thank you for your sacrifice Sir. #EPSStrong #EdmontonPoliceService #YEG #RIPConstableWoodall
