It’s just heart rending when someone walks in to my studio and bursts into tears when she sees my art especially this piece I created for my friend who lost his spouse to a hate crime. This patron is a reverend from Southminster United Church who just attended an international conference led by a lesbian head minister. She says this is what exactly the focus of the conference: tolerance and equality.
