Another lovely park in north Altadena near the San Gabriel Mountains, Loma Alta isn’t as large as Farnsworth but it has some different amenities – a pool and equestrian areas. Other amenities include a baseball field, basketball courts, tennis court, community center, pool, playground, BBQ grills, picnic areas, and restrooms. There are flat, grassy areas and trees.
On Wednesdays, the Farmers Market is held at the park. It’s a great time to come, grab a bite and enjoy the mountain and city views. The park is 17.33 acres. Parking can be a challenge during the Farmers Market but otherwise is easy to find.
