Mason lands somewhere else entirely, face first into a pine tree. Imagine the splinters from that! Hilarious. He falls back after impact and lands onto his side with a pleasant ‘oof’ noise, but he doesn’t seem to remain very conscious... Bleeding from the scalp and nose doesn’t seem all that severe, after all.

But if this is a variant of Pine-Tree himself, why’s he dressed like that fat guy Gideon?

Dipper’s face flushed with anger, both hands balled into fists at his side, clenched so tightly he could feel the sharp bite of his nails digging into his palms.

“Problems?” he spat. “You tried to destroy this whole town! You almost killed my family! Uh, yeah I’ve still got problems with you!”

Bill’s other question went unanswered, but the truth was no. No, Dipper hadn’t thought he had seen the last of Bill. Of course he had hoped he had, but he’d always believed it was possible for the demon to return. If the memory gun hadn’t permanently destroyed Stan’s memories, why should he believe it had destroyed Bill Cipher?

He eyed the demon’s new form; were it not for those teeth, it could almost pass for actually human.

“Where’d this come from, anyway? Did you trick someone else into being your puppet?”
