Have a messy deer! I was messing around with this watercolor blush I got for procreate.
found some anatomy drawings in one of my notebooks from equine diagnostic imaging a couple of months ago. it seems like only yesterday that i was sitting in the DI office mucking around with radiographs, yet the world has changed so much in this incredibly short space of time. for me, this is a little reminder that it’s okay to grieve and be lost without your work; i hope somebody else likes them.

days of productivity: 9/100
day nine already! time really does fly~
today was my first “real” day of class. gotta say, it was pretty damn boring and/or useless. first we had yet another “how to log on to one of our thousand different schedule applications” class and afterwards we had another 3 hours where we were already given an assignment without even knowing what the class is about🙃 it’s a pretty cool assignment tho, we have to research and write a paper about a topic of our own choice, and i picked the influence of housing on the wellbeing of horses, so i’m pretty excited about it.
I started college on Monday and I love it. College is so much better than high school. I’m doing a HNC in Equine Studies with the University of the Highlands and Islands and it’s been pretty great so far.
It’s only the first week so we haven’t done much, it’s mostly been induction stuff but we’ve had two proper classes so far - one on lunging where we got to take turns lunging a horse and one on the horse’s respiratory system.
It’s a mix of practical and theory stuff with some riding as well. We’re riding on Monday and I can’t wait.
While I'm still on hiatus from my degree for health reasons my love for what I study has recently been rekindled by @gailcarriger (seriously, go check out her Victorian steampunk novels) and binging on Jane Austen movies. I want to keep stoking that fire by finding some new blogs to follow! I post myself and am looking to follow others who post about any of the following topics below. Like, reblog, or comment with recommendations!
