For the purposes of this event, a rarepair is defined as any ship that is not current canon (some previously canon ships would be qualify) or widely popular within the fandom, in the expected quadrant. All polyarmorous ships would qualify, as would ships that are canon but in a different quadrant (except for the very top ships, eg, DaveKat or RoseMary). The Candy route is not considered canon. Incestuous/Pedophilic ships will not be accepted, nor will ships that erase canonically gay characters. A list of specific non-approved ships is available on this blog, and ships may be added at request.
