It was hard to decipher whether it was a winsome day or a seducing night. He could feel the torrents drench the body of his, an all so cold feeling he had gotten used overtime in his many moments of self-exploration and a yearn for what little revenge he could define. That heavy, unwelcoming pouring rain, did at last embrace his worn out frame; a gesture all too familiar and cruel for his savage yet warmthful taste-- a command so endearing yet unearthly remorseless for an experience redeemed as an afterlife if he had been one to believe such.

He found himself growing grim about the mouth-- the lack of explanation tickled the senses in ways unimaginable, a monster functioning in profound methods that needed not but instructions. Legs moved to call upon an action, yet breath decided to keep still and he soon found the filthy ground comforting for reasons he knew all too well but would never accept. Rare were the times he had found safety that it almost felt too artificial, too worrying in fact. What was this place? Why was he brought here? The significance only dawned upon him when eyes reminiscing dread met his.

Of what kind of soul does one need to have to be deserving of a Demon's frightened glare-- this, he understood. His acts had brought the inner felonious devils to shame and a kingdom of might was built with two murderous hands alone. What could he say? What excuse must he pull to break off what contact and contract he was having? It was a lesson to any kid not to dance with the devil, but what if the devil insists? What if the tune that's playing is your most favorite?

And what if you're the devil yourself?

Perhaps the joke that he did not comprehend was that his journey to find a reasoning had ended all too quickly.

Or maybe it was just about to begin.

“ Master, master... “

There was Lucifer poking at the pitiful creature curled into a ball. A moment ago the said creature had been walking around stupefied, trying to run from the weird voice speaking inside his head and the next thing he knew was the granny appearing out of nowhere. 

Kaiji wasn’t crying but he was certainly about to. Hands hugging his knees, chin resting over them he sat there staring at nothing. He thought nothing would feel worse than freeloading at Sakazaki’s by now... After meeting Miyoshi and Maeda again something had lit up inside him, finally he got out from the hell that was apathy he had lulled himself into... 

And then this happened. It’s a mess inside his head.

“ Master are you listening.... “

And what the hell was up with this hag?! She kept calling him master for one - that was totally creepy. With all the exhaustingly intense emotions getting better of him it was hard to be sitting about. He bounced up lashing out a loud exclamation against the old woman’s face.

“ ARE YOU THE ONE WHO GOT ME HERE?! “

“ No master, that’s negative.... You should listen to what others try tell you young man--- “

“ THE HELL IS THIS ABOUT THEN?!!  “

Elderly woman sighed turning his head at other direction now with an apologetic look on her face. Explanation would have to be left for other time - or perhaps she could pass that baton for someone else. 

“ Master, I’ve been trying to tell you... We have company. Perhaps you’d listen to them better.... “

“ What do you think, stranger? Care to help me with this creature eh? “

Kaiji’s face now turned too the mullet whipping in the wind. If it weren’t for the tears dwelling in his eyes it might have been rather fierce glare.

【open rp】- re; awaken

      【❉】~;     It all felt like a bad dream, falling to awaken in such a dark area. This didn’t look like Atlas or Beacon...in fact it didn’t look like any of the four kingdoms...all that was in sight was a surrounding area that had been engulfed by the darkness itself...perhaps this was what she was training for her entire life? The reason she enrolled into Beacon Academy in the first place? No...that couldn’t be it, why is that she she alone was here yet there was not another soul in sight?      Weiss pushed herself back up her feet, standing upright as she began to scout the surrounding area, by instinct her hand reaching for her belt as if to draw her weapon, t was then eye’s widened as she looked down revealing to herself that her weapon was no longer with her...no weapon mean’t no dust...no dust meant no abilities...no abilities meant a very powerless heiress...well if that title is still active around here...though that would seem to be a very big no.

      【❉】~;     Since awakening in this strange place she was able to here a constant mumbling, no matter how far she was to travel, this speech was a frequent audio in the back of her mind, if you could call it that...to Weiss such annoyances would have to be ignored until she could find someone or a form civilisation...if there was any that is.      After a fair amount time just wandering aimlessly with failed goals in mind she gave off a sigh, her hand covering her face as she shook her head, giving off a sigh before finally speaking out to herself.           “This ridiculous...there’s no one here...”      All she could do for the time being was just wait and hope, hope that someone would find her and tell her how to get home...oh and to ignore this constant mumbling in the back of her head.

“Excuse me? I uh, have a question. Okay, so, let’s say by chance I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing here on this island, what would you recommend? I mean, I totally know what I’m doing though. I’m just asking for a friend. He’s um... lost, and whatever. Pretty pathetic, huh? I know.”

Arrival of the Legacy [ER Intro]

Cloud had woken in the middle of seemingly nowhere, surrounded by trees. Taking a moment to sit up, he ran a hand through his hair, partly checking for injuries and partly to assure himself that it was all real. What had happened? The last thing he remembered was getting a call for a delivery job and heading out on the Fenrir. The next thing he knew, he was waking up in the forest with no memory of how he'd arrived, and a strange figure crouching by his side.

"Finally awake, huh?" 

"...what?"

"I didn't stutter, did I?"

"...no."

"Well good! Least we know your ears are working? Mouth...not so much, but we'll work on it."

"...who are you?"

"Name's Mammon. I'm your Stake in this game. You've been called to participate in a Witch's Game. Specifically, the game of the Golden Witch, Beatrice."

"...Stake? Witch? The hell is going on?"

"Listen just...shit will get clearer once you start goin' around and talking to people, okay? So come on, grumpy butt. Let's get going. You wanna go home, then you gotta win."

"So you're telling me that I'm stuck here until this is all over and done with? Great...fine, then I guess we'll be working together, Mammon."

"Yeah, yeah. Let's just win this so I can make everyone else lick my boots already. I'm gonna be the Stake with the winning Master."

New Adventure || Intro

Geh the ground sure is uncomfy. Luffy didn't know why he was lying on the ground, but he'll surely remember eventually so it should be alright that he didn't know now. First he should get up and find some food. And his nakama. Getting up to do just that, he brushed some small rocks that stuck to his skin off, not noticing how they left small red marks for once. He was in the middle of a forest from the looks of it. He tried to remember what island they stopped at, but it was hard to think. Shaking his head, Luffy decided that he should just go along with what was happening instead of trying to think his way through it. It wouldn't do if he caught a fever after all. Nodding to himself, he stopped trying to think how he ended up in this strange place. Time to start exploring instead. He was much better at exploring than thinking anyways.

Hopefully he could find food while he explored. He'll find his nakama sooner or later even if he wasn't looking for them, but food wasn't going to just come to him. Oh, but if food could just come to him how great would that be? Then he would never run out of food! After he eats, more would just come up to him! Luffy grinned as he imagined food with legs asking for him to eat them, not paying attention to anything else as he made his way into the forest.

"...-ello? Hello? Anyone there?"

Luffy blinked as a voice interrupted his daydream. Looking around, he saw that he wasn't alone like he thought. There standing a little ways from him was a girl who looked rather exasperated. Strange, Luffy didn't sense her presence before. Something was weird about this place. Luffy tried to reach out with his haki, but nothing happened. What was going on?

"..."

"Are you going to just stand there with a blank face all day? Really, I can already tell that there is nothing in that head of yours." The girl gave a sigh and walked over to the pirate to stand right before him, looking him up and down to size him up.

Luffy wasn't really paying attention to the girl. She didn't seem like she was about to cause any trouble, and he was more concerned about the lack of haki. Why couldn't he use it? He stared at his arm, muttering "Busoshoku, Koka," trying to get his arm to harden like it has so many times before. But...this time there was nothing.

The girl sighed and waved a hand in front of Luffy's face to catch his attention. It worked, but only for a second before he turned back to his arm. The girl sighed again. "What a boring master. I don't know what you are doing, but you seem confused. Want me to tell you what is happening?"

That caught Luffy's attention. "You know what's wrong with my haki?" He asked, pausing in his efforts to get his haki to work. He hadn't struggled this much to use his haki since when he was first starting to learn how to use it back when he was training.

Satisfied that she finally had the other's attention, she nodded. "You are part of a game from now on. Your...haki, or whatever, has been taken away so everyone has a more even playing field. And I'm-......What are you doing?"

Luffy stopped listening to the girl as he tried to reach for a tree by stretching his arm. His Devil Fruit power wasn't working either! He wasn't a rubberman anymore? He tried to pull on his cheeks, but they barely stretched before it started to hurt. It hurt to pull on his cheeks! This was weird. He didn't like it. He turned to the girl and said decisively, "This place is weird. Where is my nakama and how do I get back to them?"

"..." Taking a deep breath, the girl tried to find a way to get her master to understand. "You can't. No matter what you do-" She stopped talking as Luffy turned and ran away from her, to the direction of the sea. "..." Just great. She was supposed to explain what was happening, but how was she supposed to do that when her master just keeps ignoring her? Sighing yet again, she figured that she was going to do that a lot now, she went to follow her new master and attempt to get him to listen to her.

... it smelled like rust.

Well, maybe it wasn't the right word, but... Efina had been pretty confused by everything since she'd woken up. Alone... kind of. The small dragon let out a soft huff, ruffling the white hair of the girl currently giving her a piggyback through the strange surroundings.

She'd woken up, alone and confused on a shaded woodland path--save for the sharp, pointy... thing (stake, she'd been quickly corrected) that had been clutched in her hands. The stake that had soon began talking to her, changing appearance to a young girl with really big-- well. It had been a lot to take in, staring at the haughty girl that introduced herself as a 'Stake of Pergu....Pergay......'-- a very grand word that failed to fall from Efina's tongue in quite the same way as her's. Her name was atan, though, that much she'd been able to pick up.

Once it had become apparent that her explanations of this place (Roku...Rokenju....Rockinjukebox?) were going right over the smaller girl's head, she'd stopped with an abrupt sigh. The abridged version was a bit easier to follow, summed up in two simple facts. Whether she liked it not, the young girl was now Satan's 'master' and she was here to participate in a 'game'.

There was still plenty about it she didn't understand, the word 'master' leaving an unpleasant feeling in the dragon's stomach, like eating bitter truths. After some bickering, they'd managed to settle on 'Lady Efina' (when really, Efi was all she wanted--!) when the scantily clad demon had informed her that her new home was not far off and that she would escort the smaller girl there.

Cue more bickering over Efina's request for a piggyback (a noble piece of furniture and she was reducing her to some kind of baysitter!) before the two set off and the young girl was left to stew in her own thoughts.

Teo wasn't anywhere. Nearby, at least -- he let her go play alone, but he'd never left her alone on purpose before. She wasn't necessarily worried about his safety (too much) but...

She missed him.

There was something else that had been bothering her too, a niggling, uncomfortable feeling. Pursing her lips, she wiggled forward slightly, resting her chin on Satan's shoulder properly before finally breaking the silence between the two.

"Can you tell me a lie?"

The stake looked at her new master from the corner of her eye, eyebrow raised before turning to face forward again, a slight smirk lighting her lips.

"... Lady Efina is just as beautiful as Lady Beatrice."

"!!"

Well, it was definitely a lie. One that hurt! She had plenty of growing left to do!! And yet... looking around curiously, Efina saw nothing. No monsters, small and cute, muddy or horrendous... absolutely nothing. Not a single lie. Her stomach growled, just as dismayed by this revelation as the rest of her. What was she supposed to do, though? Lies were the only things that filled her up... and what would happen to liars when she couldn.t eat their lies?

While the dragon muddled through this dilemma, Satan stopped abruptly, causing her to peer over the stake's shoulder curiously.

"Is someone there?"

A light giggle was echoing through the forest of the island, she had found herself on. It wasn't surprising for her, to be summoned to places, she had not been before, nor expected to be. As a heroic spirit it was, in fact usual to be summoned by a master to fight in a war, but still.. this time, something had been different. The girl was standing between the corpses of wolves that had tried to attack her, alongside strange goat-like humans, who would one after another, disappear in thin air. It wasn't her who killed all of them, even if she'd had enjoyed it, it was her servant, and exactly that was, what had been different this time. She had been the master of a servant this time and for the first time, since she had become a heroic spirit, she was able to order someone around as she pleased.

    "You aren't as useless, as I thought you to be! My, my.. you created quite a mess though, just as I like it! What was your name again, hm?"

The pinkette would face the man, who was dressed in red and black. Kneeling down, he'd lower his head.

My name is Lucifer, a stake of pugatory and I represent the sin of Pride.

    "Hmm~ I see, I see." , snipping her pink claws, Lucifer would disappear, just as the goats before and the girl would go back, to where she came from. All she wanted to do, was testing this mans abilities. She didn't quite understand what was the reason for her arrival here, but she could imagine worse, right? After all it was her, who was a master this time.
