Estuvo complicado, pero shhhhh
Tenemos el Aizawa reaction:
Only a quick sketch for this week cause I’ve been busy
I chose silence cause I like parallel play and I’m projecting that on them
Aizawa is contemplating his life choices while marking the students work and Hizashi is cleaning up after making dinner

Disassociation For the first week of EraserMic month
The silence was overwhelming. It pressed against Hizashi’s ears, yet, he couldn’t be bothered to fill it. Before, silence had been the space between his announcements, the breath before another enthusiastic word. Now, it was somehow a prison he’d fallen into offering no motivation for escape.
He stared at the cereal on his table. The milk had formed a skin on top, a grey film that looked rotten. He couldn’t remember pouring it. He couldn’t remember eating. He couldn’t remember much of anything past the memories of dead friends.
For a second… he was tempted to take a bite. See if the mold would shock him out of whatever mess he’d fallen into.
The war was over, they said. Over. But for Hizashi, it played on repeat, a broken record. He’d hear his own voice, strained and desperate, calling names now on memorials. He’d see the flashes of light, the enemies that would not stay down, the blood.
He felt disconnected, like he was watching his own life, a badly dubbed film where the emotions didn’t match what was happening. He knew he should feel something – grief, terror, maybe relief – but he was numb.
Just numb.
A knock on the door startled him. He hadn’t registered the time. It was summer vacation still, right? He had one week to get over this funk. One week of PTO and vacation to somehow stop being such a bad vibe.
He went to the door, vaguely aware he was still in his pajamas, a faded All Might t-shirt and sweatpants. Normally he’d never greet people dressed like this, but... caring felt like too much.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t a fan or a mailman. Aizawa stood there, his usual stoic face looking softened. He held a couple cups and a small paper bag.
“Mic,” Aizawa said, his voice quiet. “I brought coffee. And some pastries.”
Hizashi blinked, registering the words but not understanding them. He stepped aside, letting Aizawa in. The apartment was a mess, with newspapers and clothes everywhere. He hadn’t had the energy to clean. Cleaning felt pointless.
Aizawa didn’t mention the apartment. He walked to the kitchen, cleared a space on the table, and set down the bag. He slowly gave Mic one cup, carefully held his hands around Hizashi’s and the coffee. It was as if he knew Mic would drop the coffee otherwise. Then he brought out the pastries.
Hizashi watched him, feeling confused. It was like watching someone do something familiar, but with everything reversed.
Aizawa sat down and Hizashi sat opposite him. The silence between them was different. It wasn’t the oppressive silence from before. It was… companionable.
“You haven’t been yourself,” Aizawa said, looking at Hizashi. “I’ve noticed.”
Hizashi shrugged, unable to explain the chaos in his head. “I’ll be fine,” he said, offering a weak smile.
Aizawa didn’t push. He nodded, took a sip of his coffee, and then said, “The silence… it’s loud, isn’t it?”
Hizashi looked up, surprised. It was like Aizawa had read his mind.
“Yeah,” he said. “It’s… deafening.”
Aizawa nodded. “It takes time,” he said. “To adjust. To… find yourself again.”
He didn’t offer empty words. He didn’t tell Hizashi to “get over it” or “move on.” He acknowledged the pain, the silence, the disconnect.
Hizashi recognizes the familiarity from earlier. They’d been here many times before, just it had always been him comforting Aizawa. He never thought the reverse might happen.
They sat there, drinking their coffee. Aizawa didn’t try to fill the silence. He just sat with him. And in that quiet, a tiny spark flickered. It wasn’t much. Just a small flicker. But it was there. And for the first time in a while, Hizashi felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe the silence wouldn’t be so deafening. Maybe he could learn to listen to it again. Maybe, with Aizawa’s support, he could find his voice again.
