My other main Hinata crack ship that stuck around from the day !! Which honestly I don’t know why I shipped it even because Hinata would actually pee herself ?? She in the corner shaking !!

But that would be a younger Hinata. I think if she reconnected with Gaara when she’s older & more sure in herself, her abilities, and her role in life. There would still be some sort of lingering hesitance because of what’d she seen in the Forest of Death, but she’d also have enough time away from that and grown a bit where I think it’s possible for other things to develop. 

She’d also respect him for not only his role as Kazekage, but for all the change he’s brought about to Suna and how he cares for his people and how he’s become an infinitely better person. Hinata really admires growth & change. And not that status and roles mean all that much to her, but she would see what he’s doing with the title of Kazekage and also hear second-hand about him from Naruto and at least feel a vague sense of respect for him. 

And I can just see them working because she’s undemanding and understanding and she also doesn’t want lots of material things/grand declarations of love (because lets be real, Gaara doesn’t know shit about typical romance). & while their situations are nowhere near the same, she also has a lot of internal things and family issues and dealing with politics and I can just see them working ?? This quiet sort of understanding between them once they get to know each other. And I think Gaara would admire her strength too, eventually.

So this is a shout out to Bang. Of all the fucking ships of all the fucking minor characters in existence, this is one I genuinely never expected to see and yet here it is and here I am, shipping it like some sort of heathen. I love seeing @jiiaian and @eraslicht write out such a complex narrative and flesh out such and interesting dynamic for their ship, so I’m always excited to read more. Who knew I’d grow to love these two horrible characters so much, and root for their happiness? Not me that’s for certain. SO thank you Peeb, thank you Mandy, for gracing the Bleach RP com with this ship.
