First time seeing Digitalis Lutea (digitale gialla piccola / Straw foxglove), which is not as popular as its relative Digitalis purpurea but they share the same cardiac-effective compounds. 💛

«De l'herbier intime d'il y a vingt ans à celui que je réalise aujourd'hui, un cycle se termine. L'herbier intime était composé de carrés de 40 x 40cm, il en contenait presque 200 qui furent dispersés ; puis ce travail formel ne m'a plus intéressée. J'ai eu envie de la démesure de la nature. Par les entrelacs, j'ai pu tisser des matériaux sur 3, 5,10 mètres…» Vingt ans de travail de l'artiste Marinette Cueco sur les végétaux, ou comment passer de l'herboristerie à l'art contemporain. Au-delà de l'utilisation de la nature comme surface de la création, c'est la création elle-même qui est en jeu dans cette décomposition et restructuration végétale.
