Jean thinks it’s actually pretty cute that Eren cries so much, even though he teases him about it a lot. But whenever Eren cries Jean let’s him cry it out on his chest.
Both Eren and Jean aren’t morning people, so to decide who makes breakfast they try to push each other out of bed in the morning, still half asleep. The one who gets pushed out has to do breakfast and the other can roll over once more. Most of the time Eren let’s Jean win, but it’s a funny ritual for them.
Eren really likes Jean’s mom, because she’s very caring and he doesn’t miss his own mom so much when she’s around. Jean didn’t understand that for a long time.
