Yandere Monster Facility pt. 2
hello sweetlings!! it's been so long but I finally put off some work to pump this out! i've been wanting to introduce you to subject #8 for so long now~ as always, it's unproofread! about 2000 words. divider from here!
Basically, you lived in the science facility now. You weren’t allowed to step outside of the premises in case you leaked confidential information.
So, your life was dedicated to this place now.
Honestly, you didn’t realize how much you signed up for by accepting the position.
You would never see your family or friends again. You would never visit your favorite cafe again.
Perhaps you’d never even see the light of day again, forever stuck in the dark concrete depths of this confinement.
Oh well, there wasn’t much you could do now.
It was either help research the subjects or become a subject yourself.
Nyx had been good. She was the same as she always was, but your time with her had actually been limited little by little.
The lead scientists in her case wanted to study the effects of isolation on her, and the others needed to make more time in your schedule to accommodate the other subjects to be added onto your workload.
Today was a Tuesday. That meant that you had an hour with her today.
“Hi Nyxie,” you greet her as you enter her room. It was always dark in there. She preferred the shadows.
She surprises you as her claws softly scratch the top of your head.
She coos softly, arms wrapping around you like a hug.
“I missed you too,” you giggle softly. “How’re you, hm?”
Nyx simply drags you to your corner of the room she always does. The most private and far away from the peering eyes watching you two.
Her soft gurgles soothe you as she fusses over you, the weight of her palm resting heavy on your chest.
You were supposed to play with her, test her mobility, see how intelligent she really was with puzzles… but you feel your eyes drooping as she coos again, her cold skin somehow comforting.
You wake up to slight chaos.
You were only supposed to be in the room for an hour.
You fell asleep for two hours.
And so, the scientists were trying to “extract” you.
That didn’t make Nyx very happy as she hisses at them, white suited men with helmets getting smacked around like toy soldiers.
“Nyx? Nyx! Stop, please,” you stand up quickly, trying to stop her before anyone got hurt.
She doesn’t seem to process your words, enraged as long arms slinking towards you manage to leave a deep gash on your leg.
She whimpers immediately at the sight of your blood, shrinking her posture as she comes forward.
You look terrified.
For the first time since you met her, you run.
Out of the steel doors you rushed, your blood leaving a trail in her enclosure.
The other scientists are quick to follow, shutting and securing the exit before Nyx could follow.
A loud wail seems to break through the soundproof walls, though faint compared to how loud it must’ve been in the room.
You never saw Nyx as a monster… but now, leg throbbing, you understood.
You groan softly, sinking against the wall as you looked at your leg.
“[Name]! Are you alright? I heard what happened and rushed over! Oh darling, you must be terrified! You’re so pale, how much blood have you lost?” a white coated flash ran into the holding room you were in.
It was Simon, a researcher who you often hung out with.
“I’m alright,” you reply, still shaky. “I just- I just need some bandages and stuff. It’s not as bad as it looks.”
“What do you mean it’s not that bad? You’re leaking all over the place!” Simon fusses, immediately shrugging off their coat to wrap around your leg. “I told them they shouldn’t let you interact with the subjects! Now look what happens! You get hurt!”
“Simon, chill out, it’s okay.” you place a hand on their shoulder. “I’ll be fine. It was just an accident. I’m sure Nyx didn’t mean to.”
“Didn’t mean to?” Simon scoffs. “I’ll have that monster beheaded before it gets to see you again.”
“No!” you can’t help but defend the specimen you had grown fond of. “She’s just… she was just scared. I’m sure I can calm her down next time. It was my fault in the first place.”
Simon merely grumbles, inspecting your wound. “You’ll need stitches.”
Wordlessly, they scoop you up into their arms, their scrawny scientist build hiding much more strength than you previously assumed.
“Woah. Do you work out?” you can help but blurt out, impressed.
Simon gets embarrassed at that, looking away from your awe-struck gaze.
“We have a gym here, y’know. Gotta be prepared when you’re working with danger.”
They bring you to their lab room, mixing together a chemical disinfectant that smelled strongly of alcohol and poured it all over your wound.
You can’t help but hiss, pulling your leg away.
“Shhh sweetness,” Simon soothes gently. “I’m simply making it better.”
Simon makes you feel weird things honestly. It’s almost like they’re a…
(you all get to chose what dynamic/role Simon gets!)
Parent (platonic)
Sibling (platonic)
Lover (romantic)
A few stitches and bandages later, you were all good to go! Although you were stuck with a slight limp… it would go away when you healed.
“I’ll carry you to your room,” Simon says, already scooping you back into their arms.
“Ah no… I actually have an appointment right now. I have to meet Subject #8.” you interject. “It’ll be our first time meeting, and everyone has been planning it for weeks so I can’t miss it.”
Simon scoffs. “If it were up to me you’d never meet another specimen in your life. I’d keep you hidden and safe from all these hideous creatures.”
“They’re not hideous…” you try, “They're just not like us. We can’t judge them by human standards if they’re not human.”
Simon rolls their eyes. “[Name], one literally just mauled you.”
“Mauled is so dramatic,” you laugh, “Maybe a scratch if anything.”
“Oh right okay, let me just take out all of the FIVE stitches I put into you.”
You only laugh more. “Come on, I’m gonna be late!”
Simon reluctantly leaves you with the scientists in charge of Subject #8, heading off back to his own research.
“About your coat,” you remember as they're walking off. “I’ll get you a new one or wash it, okay?”
“Don’t worry about it,” they simply say, not turning around.
Something about their tone brings a shiver down your spine, but you shrug it off.
You barely get a minute to get details before they’re pushing you into another enclosure with a notebook and pen.
“What’s this for? Therapy?” you ask the scientists, holding up the notebook as they shut the door in your face.
“Why hello there,” a silky voice sounds behind you, “You must be [Name].”
You spin around, nearly twisting your leg in the process.
They didn’t tell you this specimen could talk!
You expect a monster towering over you like Nyx, but you’re greeted by a… normal looking humanoid?
This room is bathed in fluorescent light, unlike Nyx’s so you can see pretty clearly.
It’s almost like the figure is the only shadow in the room, its silhouette that of an average man.
“Uh, yeah. I’m [Name]. Nice to meet you…?” you start, trying not to show your surprise.
“Your friends have taken to calling me Eric. A wordplay on eldritch, I presume,” it seems to sound fond. “Though for you, I’ll respond with Father.”
“Fa…ther?” you question. “Are you a God?”
Its laugh rings out bright and clear, a deep chiming in the air. “Some may say so, little one. But to you, merely a father. Can you not comprehend? What else does your kind call them…? Oh yes, dad, papa, baba, appa, isa, ata, padre-”
You cut him off. “I think I get it now,” you huff.
“So what? Do you have many children?” you ask, jotting down notes in the notebook.
‘wants to be referred to as father, weirdly.’ you scrawl messily in there.
“Only you,” Eric says fondly, “My followers are not worthy of the title. But you, oh how I knew you were out there. The universe has brought you to me on this day on purpose, don’t you see? I knew you were coming, or else I wouldn’t be stuck in this place at all.”
‘delusional’ you write in the notebook again.
“Well, Eric, we just met.” you point out.
He smothers a growl at your reference to him.
“Father,” he corrects. “Papa, if you prefer.”
You suck in your ego and pride. The things you do for the love of science and your life, you suppose.
“Well, father,” you emphasize the word. “We just met. You’re not actually my dad, you don’t even know anything about me.”
Suddenly, eyes, a nose, and lips manifest onto his face, still darkened by shadows. You can see his lips moving as he talks now, and he even blinks in an unusually slow pattern.
“I know your hair is [color]. Your eyes are [color]. You’re approximately [height] tall…”
“Oh wow, like no one can tell that by looking at me.” you can’t help but mutter sarcastically. “Technically, you know that about everyone, so anyone could be your child.”
His lips curl into a pout. “But my dearest, you wouldn’t be able to understand. I’ve felt our bond for eons now. You truly are my child. And, we have all the time in the world for me to figure out more about you.”
You wobble a little, leg aching as you eased the weight on it.
“You’re hurt.” he says, a concerned tone enveloping his voice.
Huh. You never thought you’d hear a monster sound so worried.
“Just a little accident.” you brush it off. “My friend already cleaned it up for me.”
“Next time come to me.” Eric says.
It sounds more like a command than a request.
“...sure,” you say, pondering your choices. You weren’t trying to get hurt twice today.
‘seems possessive, though oddly charming' you scratch into your notes.
“I can read, you know,” he peers over your shoulder. "You think I'm charming?" he coos sweetly.
You can’t help but shudder.
“Geez, at least give me some warning before you go slinking around creepily.” you huff.
“You’re so feisty,” he chuckles. “You must be in your adolescent phase now. Though to me, you’ll always be a baby.”
You’re about to retort before you’re both informed the time is up.
“You’ll see your baby again tomorrow,” Juliana, the lead on his casework coaxes him as she leads you out the room.
They were playing along with it?
What were you? A bribing tactic now?
“Baby?” you question as the door closes behind the two of you.
“Yes [Name],” Juliana sighs. “Please just play along. Nyx doesn’t have the words to say it, but you know she thinks you’re her baby too. You’ve got that childish appeal I guess. The specimen like it and it makes them docile with you.”
“This is your job now, in case you forgot.” another scientist chimes in.
“Okay, fine.” you sigh softly. You did sign up for this.
Better to be seen as a baby rather than a meal, you supposed.
Juliana hands you a stack of files before you leave.
“Paperwork?” you groan, “This wasn’t ever part of the duty statement.”
“Not paperwork,” Juliana teases, “God forbid the itty little baby do paperwork of all things.
“They’re the case files for the rest of the specimen we’re thinking about introducing to you. We’ll map out a coherent schedule for you next week. You’ve proven quite valuable in the progress of our research and you seem like you’d be compatible with several others,” she explains.
“I’ll look through them,” you promise, fascinated again at the prospect of meeting new entities.
“Get some rest [Name].” she pats you on the back as you enter the hall, “That leg isn’t gonna heal itself! Plus, you’ve got a long day tomorrow.”
