Trump-Loved Reporter Quits To Spend More Time With Trump-Hating Fiancée

Glenn also revealed some "breaking news" about his relationship with the former Trump loyalist.

Donald Trump-endorsed reporter Brian Glenn is leaving Real America’s Voice.

Glenn, who Trump only last week said he loves, announced his departure from the pro-MAGA streaming platform on Thursday, just one week after the president made a snide comment about his fiancée, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.). Glenn said he will now focus on life with Greene, the former Trump loyalist who has become a fierce critic of the president over his Iran war and his administration’s apparent reluctance to release files on late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a onetime close associate of Trump. In an interview Thursday with Eric Bolling of Real America’s Voice, Glenn admitted he had been “kind of the MAGA mouthpiece, if you will, for the Trump ‘America First’ agenda.” “But this past Sunday, sitting at home in Georgia, I decided that it’s time to ― and I’ll use a MMA reference ― it’s time to leave the gloves in the ring and walk away from what I really consider has been a great career,” Glenn explained. “It’s been a great time with Real America’s Voice. It’s been fantastic working with you.”

“I have no plans to go jump into a competitor,” he said. “That’s not what I’m going to do. I’m gonna take some time off. I’m going to kind of relax, get my health back to where it needs to be, reconnect with some of these relationships with my family that I have neglected over the last seven, eight years, and really kind of enjoy life a little bit.” Glenn also revealed that he and Greene will tie the knot soon. “And of course, Marjorie and I, planning a wedding likely before the end of the year. That’s a little bit of breaking news on here as well,” he said. “Focus on that but really focus on each other. And I think that this campaign can be grueling. It can really kind of drain the life out of a lot of people. And I’m 56 years old. I’m not a young kid anymore.”

Sure, the Trump administration is deporting a lot of people, but over at the U.S. Agency for Global Media, Senior Adviser Kari Lake is going above and beyond. She’s trying to deport her own employees at Voice of America, a government-funded news outlet.  Lake has overseen the destruction of Voice of America and USAGM, slashing 85% of their staff, with a plan to eventually replace the venerable institution with D-list right-wing content from One America News Network. Many people she fired were, unsurprisingly, not native-born American citizens, because VOA’s international broadcasts required a large number of highly fluent translators and broadcasters.  Those workers usually had J-1 visas, which are issued to students, au pairs, doctors, professors, scholars, and specialists, among others. The problem is that the VOA’s J-1 visas are tied to their continued employment by USAGM. Since Lake fired them, they have 30 days to leave the country or find an alternative way to stay here.  These fired workers face a huge crisis. Do they return to their home countries? Apply for asylum here? What about those people who are from a country where they will be harmed if they return?  Lake doesn’t care. To her, it’s a big joke—literally. She joshed with right-wing media hack Eric Bolling, saying, “If I have to go to the airport with them, and accompany them to the airport and get them on the flight, I will do that.” When Bolling said they could instead go to Florida’s immigrant detention facility in the Everglades, the so-called “Alligator Alcatraz,” where human rights abuses are rampant, Lake laughed.

“If you overstay your visa, ICE is going to find you,” she said. “And they will find you in this case as well.” 

Kari Lake is a no-class disgrace to USAGM and VOA.

"I called you a Trojan horse because I'm not sure you're truly conservative or not," said host Eric Bolling. "So let's just do this now —" Lindy Li interjected before he could finish, refuting the allegation. "Eric, I'm not trying to sell it," she began. When Bolling asked Li if he could ask her a series of questions testing her ideologies, Li said she could "make it even easier." [...] Li then tried to make it "simple" for Bolling. "I'm far right on everything," she declared. She and Bolling clashed when Li insisted she "wasn't wrong" on the issues while a Democrat.

Appearing on former Newsmax and Fox host Eric Bolling’s Real America’s Voice program Bolling! Tuesday, ex-Dem-turned-right-wing grifter Lindy Li was aggressively confronted about her sudden political shift by Bolling.

Ex-Fox News Star Eric Bolling Leaves Fox News Wannabe Newsmax

Newsmax said that they had “mutually agreed” with Bolling to end his primetime show immediately.

Eric Bolling, who parted ways with Fox News in 2017 amid sexual misconduct allegations, is now leaving the wannabe Fox News competitor he joined in 2021. Pro-Trump cable news channel Newsmax confirmed on Friday that Bolling had departed the network, noting that they had “mutually agreed” to end his primetime program The Balance. According to a network spokesperson, a temporary replacement show will take its place starting Monday with a rotating slate of hosts until a new show is announced this summer. “Newsmax wishes Eric Bolling well in his future endeavors,” the spokesperson added. “The network looks forward to an exciting period this election season which will include our nightly news coverage with Greta Van Susteren, Rob Schmitt, Greg Kelly and Chris Plante.” In a statement to Mediaite, which first broke the news of Bolling’s departure, the MAGA personality suggested that his exit from Newsmax was due to another gig.

Newsmax host and podcaster Eric Bolling asked former President Donald Trump for a “Christmas message for the folks” — and got a rant about insane criminal terrorist migrants, electric cars, and other things that are “destroying our country.”

Bolling — host of Newsmax TV’s The Balance — scored an interview with Trump for the Eric Bolling Podcast on Friday, and wrapped things up by asking for a Christmas message — that turned out not to be exactly Hallmark material:

ERIC BOLLING: But. Well, Mr. President, I know you’re busy, and I just wanted to congratulate you on new the new polling came out just a, you know, 48 hours ago or less. You’re leading Biden by wider margins in all seven of the important swing states. Congratulations on the polls. It’s one thank you for your time. And if you have a Christmas message for the folks, it’s all you.

DONALD TRUMP: Well, thank you very much. And first of all, we have been friends for a long time and I have a lot of respect for the job you do. So it’s an honor to be with you. And we’ve known each other a long time.

But it’s an honor, you know, And it’s a message. It’s a message of common sense. When you say the polls, it’s true. We have phenomenal polls in Iowa and New Hampshire and South Carolina and Nevada all over all over the country. New York, too, by the way. And you’re looking at the numbers.

But it’s really also a message of common sense when they see people flooding our country and we do nothing about it. And I say we’re going to start with the safest border in the history of our country. We’re going to get back to there and even better numbers than I am. But when you look at the stupidity of what’s taking place right now with that, everybody from mental institutions, from prisons, let terrorists, let them all pour into our country unchecked, just unchecked, unvetted.

It’s so crazy when you look at the fact that they want to raise taxes, when they want to take away your car and give you an electric car, that doesn’t go far. You got to you got to charge it up every 2 minutes. It’s ridiculous what’s going on. You should be able to buy an electric car, but you should be able to buy a combustion gas combustion car, a gasoline operated car. It’s so crazy what they’re doing, destroying our country.

And it’s step by step. And it seems to be systematic, but we’re not going to let it happen. And I think that’s why the poll numbers are great.

As 2024 looms, Lara Trump moonlights as a Newsmax guest host

“Your eyes do not deceive you, I’m Lara Trump in for Eric Bolling,” began the September 1 edition of Newsmax’s Eric Bolling The Balance. Thus far in the 2024 election cycle, we have already seen Newsmax air weekly paid infomercials for one Republican presidential candidate and run a legal defense fundraiser for the lawyer of another. Adding to its unashamed indifference toward any semblance of journalistic ethics, the network can now also call former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law a guest host. Lara Trump previously guest hosted Eric Bolling The Balance in June and sat behind the desk for the September 8 edition of Rob Schmitt Tonight. Trump’s three guest hosting gigs raise obvious questions about the depths of Newsmax’s favoritism toward the Trump campaign.

Although she appears not to hold any official position on Donald Trump’s 2024 reelection campaign, Lara Trump did serve as an advisor to her father-in-law’s 2020 campaign and still makes many media appearances in support of his candidacy. (It's worth noting that Fox News -- far from a paragon of journalistic ethics -- cut ties with Trump as an official contributor after her father announced his reelection campaign.) [...] “Are you kidding me? This is what really we’ve come to,” he said, apparently oblivious to (or unconcerned with) the bias exhibited by the network on which he was appearing. With Lara Trump’s recurring gig as a guest host, Newsmax is writing yet another chapter in its rich history of unethical behavior.
