Anyways, my friend in voice acting, Eric Kelso is finally a published author. 

He has written a book about life and his thoughts about philosophy.

Never thought my hero would be the godfather of my future children... c’: 

I also kind of want to ask him to give me away at my wedding, since he’s kind of like a father figure to me as a voice over artist and in life.

So this is what I wrote... 

I remember the first time I saw the game, my brother played it, and I didn’t think much of it. My curiosity got the better of me, and I started to play as well.

I was an angry preteen back then, and had move to a new city. I just finished grade eight, and it had it’s challenges. It was that summer when I found out about Baten Kaitos. After I finished playing it, there was something different about me. I wasn’t as bitter. Like Kalas on his journey, after being ostracized for having only one wing, I saw through what I was going through at the time… and I saw through that pain.

Thanks to Baten Kaitos, I’ve made friends through the online community, that I’m still talking with after all these years. 

Baten Kaitos helped me as a person… as an artist, and in many ways has made me the person I am today.

Without Baten Kaitos, I wouldn’t be a writer, nor would I have graduated acting school. Baten Kaitos really started everything for me in my life, and without it, I don’t know what would have happened to that angry little girl I was years ago. And at this moment that I’m writing this, I had a wave of emotion through me.

The game gave me… so much. Friends, perseverance, artistry. Thank you for giving me that as well, and for saving me from myself time and time again. Through acting and voice over, I hope to leave an impact on the world, as you have for me. Baten Kaitos is a precious gem, and it is something that I will treasure for many more years.

Once again… thank you, for giving me life.

Thank you so much for your email message. It really meant a lot to me. And I'm so happy that the game helped you through a rough time. We all need something to keep us going when life gets us down.

Sometimes when I'm doing my job I don't always think about the people who will be playing. But when I hear that it has such a positive effect on people that makes me very proud of what I'm doing. 

Actually, I'm just a voice, the people who write it and animate it and put it all together are the real creative ones.  

I'm just so lucky to be part of something that can make other people so happy. It sounds like you're doing a similar thing as well. And I'm so happy that you found something you love. It's important.
