"Ya know what would be fun.... fucking on New Year's Eve and coming right on the new year." Peter wondered aloud to Erik as they cuddled in bed.
Eric chuckled and kissed Peter's shoulder, pulling him closer to her chest. "That would certainly start the new year with a bang."
Sam sighed as he rubbed his sore jaw. Another great day of work and more bruises than cash earned still. He watched the drunks stumble out of the bars, and a few good-looking guys walk out of restaurants with wives or girlfriends. He leaned against the hood of his car as he watched them pass before a blue-eyed beauty caught his eye. He was tall, not as tall as Sam, but fairly tall nonetheless.“Jesus, who is this guy?” Sam marveled, hoping to be getting some more good work in.@werealittlelegendary
Eric was between jobs and decided to take a night out. He felt eyes on him and assessed the situation. A young man leaning against his car was obviously watching. Eric came closer to the man and let it an appreciative whistle. He could see that the car was a classic and well loved.
"Chevrolet Impala?" He asked the young man, gesturing to the vehicle under him.

My brother did a cool ass track. Give it a go.
I can't find the OC meme to get numbers, but: you said once that Dullahan and Elena don't adhere to traditional gender roles in their relationship. Can we hear more about that?
I’m not familiar with romantic quirks or anything of that nature, and obviously I’m not speaking from a USian perspective, so take my vocabulary and stuff with a grain of salt and here you go!
----
Quite frankly, Elena’s the breadwinner for their tiny group. Dullahan was very reluctant to let her pick up odd jobs that ranged from bookkeeping to basic warehousing management in return for supplies, but eventually had to admit that she was being paid much better than he was doing pure labour work. He has since conceded to do babysitting and writing letters on behalf to supplement the caravan’s income.
Elena also makes most of the important decisions in the relationship. She would consult Dullahan if it was very important, but when she sees that her partner is being too indecisive or paranoid (which he had been ever since he hit the road), she quickly takes charge. This, of course, includes finances.
This is, btw, hilarious because the kitchen hand that Dullahan decided to pick as his wife wasn’t like that when he was trying to court her :D:D *pelted with bricks*
Elena definitely has an upper hand when it comes to arguments and negotiations in the relationship, but it’s not hard-on aggressive-- diplomacy is actually more stronk with Elena than it is with prissy Dullahan. He just took pointers from her. He’s more of a book nerd that had his practical application of book knowledge stumped because of an unfortunate series of events.
That’s basically the more notable differences from what I would perceive as a norm in traditional gender roles for those two, but feel free to ask further questions! It’s quite fun answering this, honestly, because usually I don’t bounce ideas of these two around in public like this.
