  This is a portrait of my friend and classmate Cassidy that I took for an assignment at OSU-IT in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

One day we were cleaning out the old lockers in the photography department and I found this awesome face mask used for developing film back in the day (these lockers hadn’t been opened for at least eight years lol.) Once I saw this mask I knew I had to use it in a photo somehow. Then I got the idea to try and find an automotive paint gun and use it with the mask. So, my friend Seth let me borrow his paint gun.

I wanted to give the illusion that Cassidy was actually laying down some paint in a paint booth. So I got a ton of those little packets of powdered creamer for coffee and had my buddy Michael blow the creamer behind Cassidy, and it turned out better than I could of imagined. I am really happy with the photo I got just out of finding an old air filtering mask. I’d love to hear what you think of it.
