Original Home: Mirror Lake, Georgia
For the first twenty-one years of Eric’s life all he knew of was Mirror Lake. His parents kept his brother and sister protected from the human world, instilling into the three of them that no matter how nice humans may seem, they are never to be trusted. It was with this mindset that Eric kept from truly exploring outside their protected bubble but with the more time he kept within the city, the more his curiosity poked at him.
A few weeks after his birthday he decided to go and do the unthinkable in his family, and visit Atlanta. He knew the rules, they were pounded into his head ever since he was able to comprehend and as he traveled from Atlanta to Memphis all the way to New York his weary turned into fascination; completely enthralled with humans; primarily their beliefs in their world. He soaked in all the movies and books, finding a lot of it funny though there were a few that were almost on the mark.
When Eric returned to Mirror Lake a couple years ago, his parents weren’t happy with what he’s done throughout those years while he was away. It created a rift between them but Eric doesn’t regret his decision because he knows that there are people out there that can be trusted, but it’s hard to know that from just one meeting. He believes that in order to know for certain a type of test or evaluation should be conducted. He hopes the research he’s done during his time away can contribute to a way to welcome select humans into their community; that maybe it will change certain coven views of the world outside of Mirror Lake.
