Marilyn Monroe photographed by Eric Skipsey in 1961. She arrived for a shoot at the Beverly Hills Hotel to shoot with her pup, Maf, for a young girl who was dying of cancer that requested a picture other favorite actress.

August 11, 1961 - Marilyn received a letter from a young 14 year old girl dying of bone cancer requesting for a photo of Marilyn and her Maltese Terrior, Maf. The photoshoot was held at Beverly Hills Hotel and the pictures were taken by Eric Skipsey. The young girl received the photos two weeks later. Marilyn had written on them “From Marilyn Monroe to Barbara Heinz. With Love”💓
