Eric vanuytven lives and works in Brussels. He creates collages, installations, interventions and is co-creator of Do Not Open Gallery in Brussels. He has exhibited at Do Not Open Gallery, Gallery Saint Lambert, Recyclart art centers in Brussels. Internationally he has exhibited in Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Paris.
Eric Vanuytven's work inhabits a zone where information clashes and overrides. Lines lead the eye in one direction before stopping, interrupted by a contrasting grain. He considers his work an open-ended narrative, where he don't like to point the audience in too a direction but instead provide reference points so they can make their own story.
