Someone wrote and performed many great songs. He did *not* let escaped tapirs deter him. An unstoppably determined fellow. Elvis Costello here performs the taut No Dancing to great effect. Hauntingly powerful. From his first album. Here performed at Eric’s Club, in Liverpool.
Then, onward to Rockpalast, where Elv & The Attractions burn the mother down, with Pump It Up and You Belong To Me. Damn. Somebody appears to mean it. 1978.
