There was so much love and mutual admiration in this hug that I will NEVER get over it.
EK65 interview before Ducks game

It's where he's skating with Hailey Hunter at the practice facility. One of the questions she gives him is the standard, What would you do if you weren't playing hockey? He responds (perhaps honestly, for the first time) that he'd probably be a carpenter.
He also said that his favorite place in the world to visit is Rome/Italy.
It was a cute little interview and deserves not to disappear.
Annnnnnd since it's a national broadcast, we didn't get to see EK65's ceremony.
Other than that play on the ice, one thing Karlsson has definitely brought to this team is energy. His loud, high-pitched yells and distinctive cackle of a laugh are a familiar soundtrack to the Penguins' practices and skates. As early as those informal summer skates for players well before training camp, the boost Karlsson was bringing to the Penguins on and off the ice was evident. That hasn't changed over the ebbs and flows of this rollercoaster of a Penguins season.
Somehow, I already knew that. And he seems quick to make new friends, which I really admire.
I miss our boy on here!!
KARLSSON NEARING 1,000 GAMES
Erik Karlsson sits at 998 career regular-season games played, with the 1,000th game milestone set to be Saturday against the Bruins.
"To be honest with you, I haven't really thought about it that much…Especially as I've been pretty focused on just taking it day by day. I'm excited to play tomorrow. I think it's going to be a fun game. These are the games that we want to play and to be that position. It's going to be amazing.
