There’s a few details like Jesus was crucified, Jesus was betrayed etc and sounds as if the people he is writing to are already familiar with these details. And if the bar for the question is as low as “does this suggest this Jesus fellow probably existed” I’d have to say the answer would be yes considering we accept the historicity of many many other figures who have far less in terms of stuff attesting to their existence

I kinda don't like NGE at all, but I really like Paranoia Agent, so I'd love to hear a recommendation for Utena, which I've never watched. Why do you rate it above those other two?
i was trying to think of a bunch of ways to answer this and they all kinda came up short at actually articulating it

paranoia agent is extremely important to me, as it helped me in overcoming my depression, and still does
it gave me a way to look at myself and change it
utena, however, gave me energy
it gave me a kind of strength, personal and creative, that i can't quite describe
paranoia agent was a big step forward; utena was many more, and a sword to cut through much that would hold me back
