about hometown, who's been your favorite character to write so far? have there (or will there be) any scenes that have been hard for you to write (literally hard, like difficult, or emotionally)? do you have any lines that really stick out, like something that would go on an edit someone might make? : )
it’s so hard to pick my favourite character!! if i really had to pick, though, i would pick delilah.
i haven’t written any super emotionally devastating scenes yet, but there will definitely be one that’s hard! it does involve castor, isaac, and delilah. lots of crying.
the real answer is no, i don’t have super cool quotes, but out of all of hometown so far, i think i like this exchange a lot:
“Is…is everyone like that here?” Castor asks softly after a moment.
I have to take a moment to think. “No,” I say finally. “Not everyone. But the people who matter are, and that’s what fucks everything up.”
