Sure, it's nice to enjoy the signature aesthetic of artists we know and love. Visual comfort = happy eyeballs. There are some artists, however, who fly directly into the sun, ever in search of their next creative high. We certainly applaud THOSE daredevils. The art world may not want them to deviate from a certain 'look', but anyone who has the guts to tap into the true adrenalin of creative exploration is a-okay in our book. This is a 2016 mixed media piece from Erin Nicole Henry (aka @soil.mate on Instagram) who certainly embraces that artistic approach.
