Milo never went long without catching up with Erin. She was one of the few people he felt like he didn’t have to hide behind humor when he was around her, she always was warm made him feel like he could speak to her about anything. So as much as he hated opening up, when they spent time catching up, he didn’t necessarily hate it at all. A part of him actually looked forward to it.
Smelling like pizza from delivering it all night, he threw on a clean shirt, hoping it’d suffice for now. Grabbing his phone and car keys, he was quickly on his way.
Once he’d pulled up he debated about telling her about the whole situation Noah and him had tackled with a girl in his apartment, of course he knew Noah wasn’t the easiest subject to speak about, and while he was a huge part of Milo’s life, he tried to respect both of his friends boundaries.
Upon reaching her door, he reflected on the text on his phone screen, twisting the door knob as he slowly walked in. “Erin? Do you have any alcohol? I forgot mine at home.” He yelled teasingly before shutting the door behind him.
