When he’d gotten the transmission, he hadn’t even been sure if he should meet her. Eris had never been his biggest fan, by a longshot, and he hadn’t really cared to change her mind of the years. But when she’d somehow managed to get past his transmission block, inviting him to meet her, swearing that it was going to be only her… Cayde couldn’t help but be intrigued. While she was creepy as hell, messed up, he would like to think that Eris was at least honest.
And so Cayde-6 found himself at the agreed co-ordinates, his ship parked a good mile away and hidden from view. An old run-down supply factory was their supposed meeting place, and he’d arrived first, much earlier than agreed so he could look the place over and come up with possible escape routes if things with south. Once he mentally mapped the place out in his head, though, there was nothing to do but wait.
It was almost exactly the agreed time when the sound of shifting came to his attention. The green glow that came with the woman’s arrival was familiar, almost comforting in a way. It was strange how much he’d hated that damn tower, but how he’d still grown used to certain elements. “Looks like someone managed to find a new ship.” The first words out of his mouth probably weren’t the best choice, buuuut....
