A Rebellious Princess

I'm pretty sure once Rita steps down and is able to spend more time with their daughter, they're the most doting and overprotective parent to ever parent bc they don't know if they'll be good enough. It kinda reaches a point where Iris would have a rebellious phase against Rita at one point and even rope in other successors who would happily join. Himeno finds it adorable and Morf kinda eggs her on despite it giving Rita so much grief. She and Rita do talk it out, though, which helps them figure out boundaries and that Iris is no longer the little girl Rita dotes on.

Now for other information!

Matsuha (from the pine sawfly "matsuhabachi") (she/her)

Kaguragi's successor and Iris's future girlfriend. She finds it hilarious how her playfully flirting with Iris brings her predecessor so much dread so she doesn't mind joining in. It does eventually lead to actual feelings, but Kaguragi doesn't need to know that.

She's from a different family that Kaguragi saw potential in and decided to mentor. Too bad for him that he has to deal with another SuzuRacs situation. Only problem is not only is his successor flirting with the Princess of Ishabana, he has a former Supreme Justice breathing down his neck. He basically had to beg the two girls to stop for his and Matsuha's safety.

Ermin (from aparturina erminea, the turquoise emperor butterfly) (they/him)

Morfonia's successor and Irisvia's adoptive sibling. An orphan from Gokkan who attends law school and looks up to Rita.

While they don't necessarily see the four as their adoptive family, they don't really object to putting that title to use when confronting the four on some issues. Even questioning how in the world the ruthless yet fair Rita Kaniska managed to spawn the selfish troublemaker who calls herself their sister.

Morfonia finds them too stiff so she hopes being her retainer and spending time with her family can help them loosen up and give them a larger view of the world before she can consider them in line for the throne. They do appreciate the warmth from the family but still finds being stern essential for their eventual ascension to the throne.

hello!! @ariaforhypnos !! I tracked your ao3 to your twitter and eventually dug up your Tumblr! these great and invasive gestures were mainly because your one fic broke my heart and has been so lodged in my brain that I remembered it in a cold sweat two nights ago and offered the best honor I could give any piece of fan content -- some art and some doodles.

To those who don't know about this one, oh boy. Make sure to read the warnings. It's...a lot. But in a really really good way. Genuinely, it makes my heart ache, but I love it to pieces. The best media, in my opinion, is that which can give you a long-lasting emotional reaction, and seeing these boys again made my long-standing appreciation for this fic resurface. If anything, it sorta inspired my other fic, Moth Wings in a Spider's Web

(oh, oh, funny side note. when I first decided I wanted to draw some fan art, I was thinking 'can I post it on my Tumblr? since I'm a Kuro blog, what if that makes you uncomfortable'...and then your twitter pfp is Alois fucking Trancy so I guess we're on the same page)

Anyways, we got three drawings. One of the hospital bed scene (which, yknow, I'm a sucker for cuddling), one of Armin's reaction post-waking up, and another of Eren sitting in his mom's lap (that last one was very sad and very subtle and is probably my favorite piece of the whole thing)

Day 7- Eren’s Gift

I don’t know, how I feel about this one, so I’m going to add my ‘How I fell in Love with their love’.

Bascially, I fell in love with their relationship in the Trost Arc. It was just the way Isayama portrayed them in the chapter and the future chapters that made me think ‘I want a relationship like that’, even if it’s not romantic or if it is. The loyalty is beyond what you normally see and they would die for each other.

AND, that’s why I love their LOVE. (I’m boring, I know)
