A goofball that was promised to marry Elizabeth Shivering from an early age on. (This is how these two polar opposites ended up together)
He was the one who encouraged Vanessa to play and have fun with the town's children. To get an understanding of her future kingdom from an early age, but it clashed with his wife's (Elizabeth) ideas of how to parent the child.
He also was supportive of anything (creative) she did and played a lot with her and loved to break any rule that seemed unnecessary strict in his book. (Like no cookies at 3 am!? HELLO!?)
He never learned from Vanessa about Moonjumper because she figured that if he knew, her mother would know soon and the she would get scolded for such outrages imaginations.
